Fallen due to illness. If attached to the inferior path, the ripening will not cease. The unattached mind abides like the sky. (603) The sky has no abode, that itself is free from words. The detached mind does not need attachment or speculation. Abiding in its own nature, as it is, is suchness. The fruit is unobstructed, originally abiding in itself. Therefore, there is no need to bind with the antidote of hope and doubt. Thus it is said. Then, is it without support? It is rootless. Arya Deva said: Those knowledges rely on the mind, the experience of detachment will arise. Suka Siddhi: Place the knowledge in no support, yogi. Thus it is said. When one realizes that this has no root, then immediately one will definitely become non-dual. Thus it is said. It is said in Sambutra: This is called non-dual. (604) This is the supreme Bodhicitta. Vajra Vajrasattva auspicious. The perfect Buddha is Bodhi. This is the Prajnaparamita. Prajnaparamita is the essence of all. The equality that is spoken of is to be contemplated. It is the supreme meditation of all Buddhas. Thus and so on, it should be known that the names are infinite. Then, the fault of the external object is not needed, because the objects are dependent, so the object is not needed, like the lotus petal does not need water. Thus it is said. Internal realization does not harm, in any case, the root is the refuge of yoga. How can one with a poisonous mantra be harmed by poison? Thus it is said. The metaphor of no sign. Like a bird flying from a boat (605) is shown: The object itself is completely pure, not to be relied upon. It should be speculated only with emptiness. Just like a crow flying from a boat, circling and circling, it will eventually fall back there. Thus it is said. The metaphor of realizing that itself. Like water and waves: Whatever appears in the mind, that is the nature of the protector (Buddha). Are water and waves different? Existence and equality are the nature of the sky. Thus it is said. The metaphor of Dharmakaya merging into Dharmakaya, like dust in sunlight: Whatever support is obtained, whatever intention is, it is protected as supreme, like dust in sunlight disappears, it will merge into the heart. Thus it is said. The metaphor of one taste. (606) Like putting water into water: If you put water into water, then those waters

May it transform into equanimity. A mind possessing both faults and virtues, Cannot be fully represented by the head. Thus it is said. An example of encounter: Like offering fire in a forest, It is of no help to the ignorant. Like a flame spreading in a forest, All appearances that befall the face, Let your roots vanish together in emptiness. Thus it is said. An example of absorption: Like salt dissolving in water. Just as salt dissolves in water, So does the mind dissolve into its own nature. At that time, self and other are seen as equal, What is the use of striving to meditate? Thus it is said. An example of appearance and emptiness being of one taste: Like water and fire (607) as shown: The supreme sovereign without waves, Meditation without impurities transforms. Let water and fire remain as one self-illumination, Coming and going, I neither take nor abandon. Thus it is said. If the calculation of Mahamudra is complete, All memories and thoughts are the enjoyment and supplication of non-thought; in that very uniqueness, there is no antidote, rest in its own place. No matter how many thoughts arise, they arise in the original nature itself. If memory is liberated in its own place, it is the very freedom of non-thought. Knowing whatever enjoyment appears, and nourishing non-thought. Thus it is said. To Sambutra: Looking at various forms, Listening extensively to various sounds, Speaking and frolicking, When performing those actions, The mind does not go elsewhere (608), That itself is the yoga of wisdom, Yoga will constantly arise. Thus it is said. Whichever sense faculty is the path, Transforms into the essence of that very thing. A yogi who has not achieved samadhi, Is always in perfect samadhi. Thus it is said. Lewapa said: Just as a pile of grass and wood ignites into flames, If moved by the wind, it blazes even more fiercely, When the wisdom of realization destroys phenomena, Afflictions and thoughts are friends that increase wisdom. Thus it is said. These scriptures should be explained according to the individual's faculties, combined with the circumstances of expansion and contraction. Furthermore, during the preliminary stage, to allow meaning to arise in the mindstream is the identification of a thief. During the main practice, relying on the scriptures of Sutras and Tantras (609) to generate decisive certainty is to generate faith through the combination of scriptures. Niguma says: The preliminary practices are especially important. The preliminary of this lineage
