这是指极度寒冷导致身体内外都充满水泡。水泡破裂狱是指，比那更冷，水泡破裂，脓血的身体也变得冰冷。经文中说，从脓血中产生的生物会啃噬身体。发出“阿秋”的声音是指，发出微弱的、含糊不清的、略带清晰的声音的呻吟。发出“吉呼”的声音是指，比那更冷（489），无法发出清晰的声音，只能发出微弱的危险信号。牙齿打颤是指，比那更冷，无法发出声音，身体颤抖，牙齿互相碰撞。像乌 উৎপལ་花一样裂开是指，身体裂成四块或八块等。像莲花一样裂开是指，身体裂成一百块等。像莲花一样大大裂开是指，由于极度寒冷，身体的每个部分都裂成一百块或一千块。寿命方面，水泡狱的寿命是指，用一个能装八十卡尔的巨大容器，装满芝麻，每过一百年（490）取出一粒芝麻，直到芝麻全部取完，水泡狱的众生才能活那么久。其余的狱的寿命以二十倍二十倍递增计算。这方面，观想的基础和总结与热地狱的情况相似。这是第十个观想段落。现在思考近边地狱的痛苦。如《俱舍论》所说：“十六皆胜八，此等四方隅，无滩火粪河，尸泥剑叶林。”也就是说，八个热地狱中的每一个，在其各自的四个方向上，都有这四个近边地狱（491）。也就是说，火粪坑是指充满燃烧灰烬的、开口非常大的坑。无论众生是从一开始就生在那里，还是从热地狱本身游荡而来，地狱的众生都因为极度的痛苦而无法在一个地方停留。在那种情况下，他们会随意逃跑，掉进火粪坑里。根据业力的大小，他们的膝盖或腰部可能会被淹没，这是不确定的。即使他们想逃跑，也会因为头晕而返回。地狱的狱卒（492）就在旁边。

This refers to the extreme cold that fills the entire body, inside and out, with blisters. The Blister Bursting Hell is even colder, causing the blisters to burst, and the bodies covered in pus and blood also become frozen. It is said that creatures born from the pus and blood gnaw at the body. The sound "A-chu" refers to groaning with a faint, indistinct, slightly clear sound. The sound "Kyi-hud" refers to being even colder (489), unable to produce a clear sound, only emitting a faint danger signal. Chattering teeth refers to being even colder, unable to make a sound, the body trembling, and the teeth clattering together. Splitting like an উৎপལ་ (utpala) flower refers to the body splitting into four or eight pieces, etc. Splitting like a lotus flower refers to the body splitting into a hundred pieces, etc. Splitting greatly like a lotus flower refers to each part of the body splitting into a hundred or a thousand pieces due to extreme cold. Regarding lifespan, the lifespan of the Blister Hell is said to be as long as it takes to empty a large container that holds eighty khals, filled to the brim with sesame seeds, by removing one sesame seed every hundred years (490). The lifespans of the lower hells are calculated by multiplying by twenty times twenty. In this case, the basis for contemplation and the conclusion are similar to those of the hot hells. This is the tenth section of contemplation. Now, contemplate the suffering of the surrounding hells. As stated in the Abhidharma: "Sixteen are superior to the eight; these are on the four sides: a river of embers, a putrid corpse, a razor path, and so forth." That is, each of the eight hot hells has all four of these surrounding hells (491) in its respective four directions. The pit of burning embers is a very large pit filled with burning ashes. Whether beings are born there from the beginning or wander from the hot hell itself, the beings of hell cannot stay in one place because of the extreme suffering. In that situation, they flee wherever they can and fall into the pit of burning embers. Depending on the strength of their karma, their knees or waist may be submerged, which is uncertain. Even if they want to escape, they become dizzy and return. The terrifying hell guards (492) are nearby.

守护着，不要让他们逃脱！腐烂的泥潭是：再次逃跑时，会陷入名为“腐烂”的，不干净的，充满污秽的泥潭中。感受到难闻的气味，头部爆裂，几乎昏厥过去。泥潭中央会出现许多铁嘴和铜嘴的虫子，像树虫啃食树木一样，啃咬吞噬身体。充满剃刀的路等等是：从远处看，像令人愉悦的绿洲一样。跑到那里时，整个地面都布满了四指宽的剃刀（493），遭受着被割断脚等等的痛苦。等等，从其中概括的名为刀叶黑森林的是：被热浪炙烤时，从远处看到一片绿色的森林。高兴地跑过去，到达那里时，所有的树叶都变成了刀剑之类的武器，被风吹动，像雨一样落下，将身体切割成许多碎片。刺红棉树是：被许多凶猛的生物追赶，看到一棵巨大的刺红棉树，爬上去时，有许多十六指长的铁刺朝下（494），身体被刺穿，逐渐到达顶端时，会遭受凶猛的鸟类啄食眼睛和撕扯血肉等等的诸多恐惧。再次向下爬时，尖刺朝上，身体被刺穿等等。这三者都是武器造成的伤害，所以归为一类。第四个是无尽的灰烬热河：被极度的炎热炙烤，从远处看到一条河流。跑到那里，毫不犹豫地跳进去时，那是由火和水混合而成的，极其炎热，深不见底且宽广。身体沉入水中时，被彻底煮烂，血肉（495）与骨骼分离。血肉漂浮起来，生命依附在骨骼上。像铜一样空荡荡的胫骨浮出水面。随即血肉又像之前一样生长出来，再次沉没等等。这些没有确定的寿命，但各自必须停留数百年甚至数千年，所以痛苦是剧烈的，时间是漫长的。观想的基础和，结尾总结如前。观想次第第十一次。现在来思考短暂地狱的痛苦，它的处所是地下和地上的山、平原和水等等。

The road filled with razors, etc., is: From afar, it looks like a pleasant oasis. When they run there, the entire ground is covered with razors four fingers wide (493), suffering the pain of having their feet cut off, etc. Etc., summarized from within, the so-called Dark Forest of Sword Leaves is: Scorched by the heat, from afar, they see a green forest. Happily running over and arriving there, all the leaves turn into weapons like swords, blown by the wind, falling like rain, cutting the body into many pieces. The silk-cotton tree is: Chased by many ferocious creatures, seeing a huge silk-cotton tree, when they climb it, there are many sixteen-finger-long iron thorns facing downwards (494), the body is pierced, gradually reaching the top, they will suffer many fears such as ferocious birds pecking out their eyes and tearing flesh, etc. When climbing down again, the thorns face upwards, piercing the body, etc. These three are all harms caused by weapons, so they are classified as one. The fourth is the endless river of hot ashes: Scorched by extreme heat, from afar, they see a flowing river. Running there and jumping in without hesitation, it is a mixture of fire and water, extremely hot, bottomless, and wide. When the body sinks into the water, it is completely boiled, flesh (495) separates from bones. The flesh floats up, and life clings to the bones. The tibia, empty like copper, floats to the surface. Immediately, the flesh grows back as before, and they sink again, etc. These do not have a fixed lifespan, but each must stay for hundreds or even thousands of years, so the pain is intense and the time is long. The basis of visualization and the concluding summary are as before. The eleventh contemplation sequence. Now, let us contemplate the suffering of the ephemeral hells, whose places are underground and on the mountains, plains, and waters, etc.
