I invoke the protector who dances freely and the thirteen dakinis. Their eyes gaze sharply at the sky, and the heroes and yoginis of the three places and twenty-four lands, who beat the skull drum fiercely, are invoked to gather involuntarily in the sky like clouds, believing that they will shower down supreme and common accomplishments and all desires like rain. (421) When reciting and mainly performing subjugation, the bodies of the lama and the retinue of the protector radiate reddish-brown light, covering all realms of the world like a net of lightning. When it strikes those to be controlled, such as gods, nagas, humans, and non-humans, their bodies become bright red. A strong feeling of attachment arises in their respective natures. I visualize the tips of those rays, like iron hooks, piercing the hearts and reproductive organs of those beings, causing them to lose consciousness involuntarily and fall at my feet, and I recite all the mantras. This is the uncommon essential instruction. The number of recitations is one million three hundred thousand or four hundred thousand. At the end of the session, it is accomplished by visualizing the lama and the protector as inseparable as before. If the retinue of the protector is slow in action, or if a major event occurs for the sake of the Dharma and the lama, (422) then the visualization for focusing the key point is: I fervently pray to the lama to bring the protector and his retinue to the key point. Light radiates from the body of the lama, the king of power, who resides on the crown of the protector's head, and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions are invited in an extremely wrathful form and dissolve into the lama. The lama himself appears as dark blue, radiating red light, and with an extremely wrathful nature, he dances with crackling and roaring sounds on the crown of the protector's head, and the dark blue light radiates, striking the bodies of the protector and his retinue, causing the protector and his retinue to be brought to the key point, dancing with blazing and scattering sounds above the enemies and obstacles, stamping his feet in wrath, and uttering loud sounds of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽) Phaṭ (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Devanagari: फट, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: 啪) from his mouth. His three eyes gaze sharply at the retinue, causing the retinue to involuntarily (423) become extremely wrathful, and from the hearts of the evil enemies of the Dharma, they hook out with iron hooks, bind with ropes from the throat, and kill after binding the limbs with iron chains.

Having done the three acts of cutting, chopping, and severing, the retinue enjoys the essence offered to the main deity, without leaving any flesh, blood, or bones. All harmful enemies and obstructors are destroyed like dust particles, and one is inclined to accomplish whatever activities one desires. Om Vajra Mahakala Kshih Kshetra Bi Na Binayaka Trag Raga Mo Raksha Rudhira Citta Adun Rbad Hum Hum Phet Svaha. Om Vajra Mahakala Kshih Kshetra Bi Na Citta La Adun Dun Bi Binaya Hum Phet. By reciting this fierce mantra fiercely, the retinue will listen like servants and accomplish all activities without beginning. It is very profound! The second key point is to pacify the mind-stream by relying on Akshobhya, i.e., (424) if there is a great breach of vows, or if one is cursed due to the influence of attachment and hatred, causing the reversal of semen and blood, inauspicious dreams, or if one's mind-stream is irritable and prone to anger, then visualize oneself as the protector, and on the crown of one's head, visualize the guru Akshobhya, with a body color like clear sky. In the center of the emptiness of the protector visualized as oneself, visualize the central channel, white on the outside and red on the inside. Then, pray intensely to the guru, and from the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hum) syllable in the guru's heart, rays of light radiate in the ten directions, inviting all the Three Jewels and Three Roots, which dissolve into the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hum) syllable. From the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hum) syllable, continuous blue Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hum) syllables emerge, emanating from the secret vajra, passing through the central channel at the crown of the head, filling the entire interior of the central channel, and its light pervades the entire body. The entire body and mind are filled with bliss. The guru protector's mind is blissful, clear, and non-conceptual, and one's own mind, awareness-emptiness like the sky, are inseparable, abiding in the natural (425) state. The third key point is to enhance radiance through the body, which has already been explained during the previous practice. To purify sins, obscurations, and breaches, the practitioner should perform the propitiation of the protector to dispel defilements, i.e., generate the front visualization as before, up to the offering and praise. Then, on the crown of the protector's head, visualize the guru Vajrasattva clearly as described in the ritual, and with the light from his heart, invite all the Tathagatas of the ten directions, manifesting as the mandala of the Three Vajras, in the sky above, from bottom to top, in order: the Body Vajra Vairochana Buddha in white, the Speech Vajra Amitabha Buddha in red, and the Mind Vajra Akshobhya Buddha in blue, all adorned with the attire of the Sambhogakaya, residing like a dense cloud.
