Unobstructed, it proclaims its own sound, Showing the place and time, such as the Wheel (773). Whatever emanation body tames, arises spontaneously, Transforming into a body that tames beings, Ripening and liberating like a flawless lotus. Or like a wish-fulfilling jewel, And from the unsurpassed intention, The generation stage possesses the nature of bliss. From this, two bodies arise and transform, The Dharma body from the completion stage, This indivisible manner is taught. Furthermore, the Sambhogakaya arises from the Dharmakaya, And the Nirmanakaya arises or appears from the Sambhogakaya, From the Noble Golden Light Sutra: For example, lightning appears dependent on empty space. Similarly, the merit body appears dependent on the Dharmakaya. The Nirmanakaya appears dependent on the merit body. Although the three bodies can be counted, Their essence is not three. In short, the Dharmakaya is like the sky, And the Rupakaya appears like a rainbow. Knowing all knowable things without exception, just as they are, Without conceptual thought, knowing everything clearly. The Dharmakaya is like the sky, the Rupakaya possesses a beautiful body. Among these, the nature of the Dharmakaya is threefold: uncompounded, spontaneously accomplished, and cannot be transformed by other conditions. (774) The nature of the Rupakaya is also threefold: possessing wisdom, compassion, and power. Thus, Maitreya says: Spontaneously accomplished and uncompounded, Not realized by other conditions, Possessing wisdom, compassion, and power. Furthermore, the manner in which the four bodies are accomplished from the five wisdoms, the four bodies from the generation and completion stages and the two accumulations, and the manner in which the four bodies are accomplished from the four empowerments, etc., if one delights in elaboration, one should learn from numerous sutras and tantras. This is the experience of single-pointed practice, and it is taught in brief without contradicting the meaning of the sutras and tantras, but there is no time and no end to learning all knowable things and vehicles. As it is said in the Lankavatara Sutra: As long as there is conceptual thought, there is no end to the vehicle. When there is no conceptual thought, there is no vehicle and it cannot be expressed. The boundary of the grounds: From the continuous path of the ten grounds to the four bodies and activities, it should be known as the ultimate path. After that, the order of the grounds will be explained. The nature of the grounds: is transcendental.

It is free from both calm abiding and insight. The definition is: It is called "ground" because it is the basis of all qualities or the basis for progressing upwards (775). As stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Because it destroys immeasurable beings, those immeasurable ones, gradually possess upward movement, therefore, those are considered the ground." The divisions are the ten grounds, such as the Joyful Ground. The individual characteristics of the ten grounds are: In the Noble Golden Light Sutra, it says: "Son of good family, why is the first ground called the Extremely Joyful Ground? It is because, for the first time, the mind that transcends the world, which has not been seen before, manifests, and one obtains the complete thought of great meaning. Therefore, the first ground is called the Extremely Joyful Ground. Because the stains of subtle transgressions and all faults of discipline are purified, the second ground is called the Immaculate Ground. The immeasurable wisdom without characteristics, without mental activity, and the light of the wisdom of meditative concentration cannot be moved or subdued by anything, and because one abides in the dharani that holds what is heard, the third ground is called the Illuminating Ground. The fire of wisdom burns all defilements, and the firelight of the practices of the aspects of enlightenment radiates forth, therefore, the fourth ground is called the Radiant Ground. (776) Because one masters the means of meditating on it and the supreme wisdom is difficult to control, and because one subdues the afflictions that are difficult to subdue by seeing and by meditation, the fifth ground is called the Difficult to Subdue Ground. All compounded phenomena manifest without interruption, and all mental activities without characteristics manifest, therefore, the sixth ground is called the Manifest Ground. Because there is no interruption in the undefiled dharma and one meditates for a long time on the liberation concentration without characteristics, those are purified and without obstruction, and because one has gone far beyond the Hearers and Solitary Realizers, the seventh ground is called the Gone Afar Ground. One gains mastery over meditating on the mental activity without characteristics, and because one cannot be moved by the afflictions, the eighth ground is called the Immovable Ground. Because one has become empowered to teach the Dharma in all aspects, and because one has obtained faultlessness, extremely vast intelligence, and unobstructed eloquence, the ninth ground is called the Ground of Good Intelligence.
