I. Abiding in the supreme Dharma, one does not regress from perfect Bodhi. From the Sutra of Boy Radiant Light. Having abandoned all worldly decay, whoever possesses a mind of benefit, there is no other Dharma that pleases the Buddhas. The Dharma to be abandoned is as previously stated. The boundary is from the wisdom of warmth to the supreme Dharma of the world. After that, the path of seeing will be explained. The nature of the path of seeing is, there is no real meaning of the Four Noble Truths. The definition is, because one directly sees the nature of Dharma that was not seen before, it is called the path of seeing. There are four divisions: suffering, origin, cessation, and path. The characteristics of the divisions are: seeing the Four Noble Truths such as suffering as emptiness is the forbearance of Dharma knowledge. On top of that, the wisdom of the next moment extensively sees emptiness, which is seeing the Dharma nature of the path of seeing. The two, forbearance and Dharma knowledge, realize that the part of attaining Bodhi exists completely without error (762), which is the forbearance of following knowledge of the Four Truths. Realizing in this way, the arising of unerring decisive correct view is the forbearance of following Dharma knowledge of the Four Truths. This is seen by the wisdom of the path of seeing. These are four types of Dharma nature, from small to large, and very large, which are distinguished by the size of the actions performed. The samadhi of attention is the seven factors of enlightenment. From the Sutra Requested by Bodhisattva Wisdom Source. Wisdom Source asked: World Honored One, how should the seven factors of enlightenment be contemplated? The World Honored One taught: Wisdom Source, because there is no memory and no attention, all dharmas are empty by their own nature. Therein, seeing that all dharmas have no self-nature is the factor of right mindfulness of enlightenment. Wisdom Source, for what reason are good and non-good, as well as the undeclared, also established? All that is established as Dharma, where it is unattainable like an illusion, is the factor of discriminating Dharma of enlightenment. Wisdom Source, because the concept of all dharmas is extremely destroyed (763), therefore, for all dharmas of the three realms and Nirvana, neither taking nor abandoning.

To rejoice in being free from clinging to initial understanding, to have faith in non-discrimination, and to not abandon diligence, this is the branch of perfect enlightenment of diligence. Source of wisdom, because it can completely destroy all things that are liked and disliked, so without generating joy for all conditioned phenomena, thereby eliminating all afflictions, this is the branch of perfect enlightenment of joy. Source of wisdom, because for anything that becomes an object, even a particle of dust is not clung to, so for all dharmas, through extremely subduing body and mind, without obscurations, and abiding in aimless samadhi, this is the branch of perfect enlightenment of extremely subduing body and mind. Source of wisdom, because it can completely destroy the clinging to all dharmas, or for the sake of realization, the mind does not cling to anything, wherever the mind abides, it can realize all dharmas. If the mind abides, one can become a Buddha; if the mind does not abide, one cannot become a Buddha. Therefore, abiding in a way that is free from clinging, this is the branch of perfect enlightenment of samadhi. Source of wisdom, for all dharmas, it does not make them abide in anything, does not rely, does not cling, does not bind. For anything, whether it is pleasure, pain, neutral, etc., the mind does not cling to all dharmas, and is not shaken by all worldly dharmas, therefore becoming an equanimous one who does not truly follow the sight of all dharmas, thereby obtaining joy, this is the branch of perfect enlightenment of equanimity. Source of wisdom, the seven branches of enlightenment should be viewed in this way. Thus, by the power of samadhi, when directly seeing the nature of reality and possessing pure direct knowledge, there is a profound experience of joy and pleasure, constantly practicing pure conduct, transforming the body for the sake of the mind, and sacrificing life for the sake of the Dharma, the wise will generate the path of seeing, which is said to be a sign of non-retrogression. If it is not so, one hundred and twelve qualities will arise. From the Extensive Play Sutra. Once the bodhisattva ground is attained, one is immediately free from five fears: (765) no harm, no praise of death, evil destinies, and the fear of abandonment.
