Please forgive. Not just stopping at forgiveness, but practice that merges with one's own mind. All sorts of doors of practice, have grasped the stable ground of unchanging realization. Even though you gather here, meditate single-pointedly on clear light. The key point of the wondrous wind-mind transformation, is the mind soaring upwards single-pointedly, and cultivating the aspiration for the bardo in whatever appears. Whatever arises, take pure appearance as the path. This is called the teaching of transference and bardo, which is crucial for beginners. In the uncorrected, innate nature of mind, leave whatever arises in the state of naked awareness. The uncorrected, natural state of body, speech, and mind, is called the teaching of spontaneous ease. (402) Meditate in a state of clarity and emptiness. In a relaxed and expansive state, the yogi who recognizes the nature of whatever arises in the mind, is liberated in its own place as soon as it arises. This is also called the teaching of self-liberation. The union of clarity and emptiness, the three kayas, whether the mind is still or moving, recognize the primordial nature, this is called the teaching of the self-arising of the three kayas. Let movement dissolve into the emptiness of movement, transcending the boundary between meditation and post-meditation. There are many who have vast knowledge of sutras and tantras, and many who possess pith instructions, but few who say, "There is nothing else besides this." This yoga of self-liberation Mahamudra, I believe to be the essence of sutras and tantras. I myself have practiced it in this way. (403) Even though you gather here, practice in this way. The single, self-arising, impartial pure appearance, taking whatever appears with devotion as the path, the root of devotion arises as the guru. The state of the guru and yidam being inseparable, the yidam self-arises as an illusion. The self-arising, uncorrected, natural sound, is the guidance of impartial pure appearance. This is called the three-fold path. I myself have also trained in impartial pure appearance. Even though you gather here, train in impartial pure appearance. The key point of unobstructed means lies in pure appearance. The clarity and emptiness of mind, the appearance of the deity's form, and the unchanging bliss of self-awareness, are unborn from the very beginning. For that which is unborn, there is no cessation. The nature of mind, without birth or death (404), is immediately pointed out by the kind guru. This is also called the immortal self-mind. The essence of the generation and completion stages is contained within it. The three, wind, thought, and mind, are all merged into the expanse.

The key to practice. The skill of transforming the illusion wheel in practice. In the self-liberation of the untainted bindu, Which is unobstructed in other bodies, Introducing the four joys into the expanse, Its name is Self-Born Immortality. O yogi, subdue the wind-mind at will! The key to accomplishing the four activities immediately. The kind root guru and, The swift-acting wisdom protector, Though the names are different, the meaning is the same. From the yoga of single-pointed devotion, The realm of the two siddhis bursts forth (405), And spontaneous benefit for beings arises. I offer the melody of praise to the master with the name. Starting from glorious Vajradhara, To all the root gurus, I offer this song of practice and melody. To the fortunate men and women gathered here, This supreme taste of the nectar of definitive secrecy, Is given in the manner of a feast. I am an unbiased practitioner, In the vast yoga of equal taste, A destroyer of the enemy fortress of the eight worldly concerns, A holder of the innate ground, A seer of the face of all things. Though not confused by words and terms, The grasping of being wise is liberated into the expanse. At present, body and mind appear merely ordinary. The name given by the kind Khenpo (406): Is called Kunga Nyingpo. Introducing the nature of one's own mind, The one who bestows the kindness of turning a person into a Buddha, The kindness bestowed by the father lama is: The name is Taranatha. Today, it is spoken in the manner of heartfelt words. Thus, at the age of twenty-five, in the place of Rigong Palgyi Gonpo (Glorious Protector of Rigong), in the presence of the Self-Born Protector, this song was sung during the tsokhorlo (gathering circle). Iti. The venerable omniscient one, having manifested the supreme accomplishment, at the time of taming immeasurable beings with spontaneous conduct, sang the song of the seven auspicious symbols of the vajra, saying: Namo Guru Homage to the Guru). From the self-experience of the great bliss dharmakaya, The impartial compassion for the benefit of beings arises. I prostrate at the feet of Vajradhara. (407) I pray that you bless the assembly here. This impartial increase of benefit for others, Is a sign that the mind's emptiness has arisen as compassion. This realization of the nature of reality, Is a sign that devotion has reached its limit. This state of never being distracted, Is the cutting of the root
