This and the conduct two. The gentle, floating white cloud offering wheel, this and three. For the instruction of endless samsara, there is one. The rainbow that appears but is formless, this and one. The clear and aimless waterfall (392), this and two. The dream that arises with joy and sorrow though it is without, this and three. The teacher who shows that appearance is one's own mind, there is one. Outer appearance is like a magic trick, this and one. Inner awareness is like the door of the mind's appearances, this and two. The emptiness of the sphere that cannot be grasped, this and three. Like water placed in water, inseparable, there is one. In general, when a little experience arises, Whatever appears, whatever arises, becomes an instruction. Whatever actions are done by the three doors, become a harvest. Thinking about this meaning, alala! Now, this little bit of life remaining, Spending it on practice and accomplishment, Occupying a solitary mountain retreat, Whatever arises, using it on the path. The kind and precious lama, In the past (393) has given immeasurable blessings, Now also, please give blessings. There is no other refuge than you, Lord of Dharma. When Tāranātha saw the changes in the kingdom, He sang this song at a time when it was like an instruction in his mind. When performing a gathering wheel at Yarok Taklung, the self-sound of Vajra Nada proclaimed: Namo Mahāmudrāya Homage to the Great Seal). In the sky of the great bliss of the sphere, The unobstructed play of awareness and wisdom, The stars of knowledge, love, and power shine. Supreme glorious lama Vajradhara, I, a beggar, respectfully pray to you. Please bless me, compassionate one. In that pure realm, The unchanging body, the mind of great bliss, That one known as Vajradhara (394), Is said to be the chief of all mandalas. He is not somewhere else, He is the one root lama. Supreme one, by the kindness of your compassion, I, this person, have also gained a little stability. In the original, unaltered, natural state, I rejoice in this confidence of certainty. In the clear and pure self-appearance of the mind, There is not a single thing that does not arise. Liberation is right at the moment of its arising, Is this not the yogini of self-liberation? This unforgetfulness of completely recognizing one's own nature, Is called the meditation of śamatha. The root of not finding one's own nature
