It is very important to recognize this place. When the mind is free from conceptualization and self-illuminating, (379) that which is clear and empty, if you recognize your own face, it abides as the Dharmakaya. When you recognize your own face, no matter how great the magic of conceptualization, no matter how many appearances of happiness and suffering, all are the play of the Dharmakaya. There is no difference between conceptualization and non-conceptualization. The self-nature of abiding and moving is one. Just as ice melts into water, whatever appears is clearly in one's own mind. From the time of appearance, there is no trace, both the object and the subject are like that. The appearances of emptiness are unceasing. From the three bodies of the Buddhas above, to all sentient beings in the hell realms below, everything appears without exception. However it appears, it is free from elaboration. It transcends the realm of all speech. The mind experiences great bliss of self-awareness. Again, increase the merit of engaging in elaboration (380). All are the play of Mahamudra. From the perfection of the two accumulations of skillful means and wisdom, one realizes the intention of the Buddhas. If you practice it as it is, it is like nectar. If you lose it in empty talk, it is empty boasting. You should cultivate it on your own continuum. You should ask for self-mastery in practice. So it was said. Again, he gave the advice of the whip to encourage renunciation. Namo Guru Bhyah (藏文,梵文天城体:नमो गुरुभ्यः,梵文罗马拟音:Namo Gurubhyaḥ,汉语字面意思:敬礼 गुरु 上师们!). I prostrate to the Guru Vajradhara. Here, I will speak three heart words: The appearances of this life are like a rainbow. Do not chase after them. These appearances are the activity of one's own mind. Do not cling to them as different. If unattached awareness does not arise, (381) even if you meditate well, there is a danger of it becoming false. If you do not hold your own mind tightly, there is a danger of wasting it on meaningless activities. If you do not wholeheartedly engage in your own benefit, you will be deceived by what appears to be for the benefit of others. Except for this time, it is very difficult to obtain a human body again and again. Once you are born in the three lower realms, there is not even one opportunity to practice the Dharma. If you slip up just once now, it is like making a foundation stone for hell. The virtuous deeds that benefit the future and the results of practice are here. Sins and transgressions fall like rain. Thinking in this way, engage in the Dharma. The suffering of old age will also come quickly. Once sickness and unpleasantness arise, (382) that awareness afflicted by suffering is difficult to guide by the Dharma, so from a time of happiness

Please strive to practice! For the time being, in our lives, the rise and fall of countries and regions, the status of the Lama and teacher, the appearance of monastic companions and friends, the circumstances of parents and enemies, etc., all show the nature of impermanence. In every moment, year, month, and day, the teachers who show impermanence are all near us, bringing about renunciation. No matter what, all the affairs of this life, no matter how they are done, will eventually be abandoned. Children, abandon worldly affairs and strive to practice! The body is impermanent, flesh and bones will eventually separate. Even this body that is so cherished will eventually turn into a pile of bones. (383) The wealth accumulated by one's own stinginess, who will eventually obtain it, and how will it be distributed? The food and clothing we have now are just leftovers and scraps. Even if the body is strong and powerful, when impermanent death comes, all wealth and enjoyment will be lost, and eventually one will fall into the three lower realms again. In short, impermanence is the universal law of all conditioned things. Thinking about these reasons, strive to practice the Dharma! Cultivate impartial compassion, do not be attached to any appearance, and cherish the three stages of this life, the next life, and the bardo. At all times, cherish the leisure and endowment. Have unwavering faith in the Lama, and pray with all your heart! Because the Lama will never deceive you. (384) Generate renunciation, compassion, and devotion, and cultivate them without wavering. If you strive to achieve these four points, your wishes will reach the peak. Thus it is said. In Dar Yul Drak Nak (in present-day Daofu County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan), when Gyaltsang Tokden Rinchen Tashi requested oral instructions, the Lama said this. Homage to all Lamas! Children, appearance and mind are not different. Let all appearances arise naturally, without artificial fabrication. Compassion and emptiness, going and coming are one. Do not lose the holding of compassion, and do not fall into nihilistic emptiness. The practice of union is extremely important. The acceptance and rejection of cause and effect are reversed and confused, and in any case, abandon unnecessary renunciation. Far from the vast mind of benefiting others, (385) instead practicing the colloquial "Mahamudra" of the upper region, and the practice of channels and winds of the heretics, those practitioners who put their energy into these, even if they can skillfully deceive the foolish, have deviated from the path that pleases the Buddha. Children, becom
