Holding on to it, let any behavior be like that of a child. (245) Let unpretentious behavior abide like a young child, let fearless behavior be like a lion, let there be no doubt like an elephant entering water, let there be no cleanliness like dogs and pigs playing, let the taste of places be practiced like a bee collecting honey, let it be natural and unrefuted, abide like a madman, be born without astrological influences like a meat-eater, roam everywhere like the wind, and to go without attachment is supreme. In any case, experience that unborn state. The ultimate of behavior is the Vajra Song. Without hope or fear, with the innate nature of mind itself, without remembrance, one attains inexpressible samadhi. Without birth, one attains immutable view. Without grasping, one attains impartial conduct. Separated from conditions, one attains the fruit beyond mind. Without effort, one accomplishes difficult tasks. Without accumulation, inexhaustible (246) treasures and so on arise. Without assembly, one meets inseparable friends. Like a good vase and a wish-fulfilling jewel, this naturally arising fruit is extremely wonderful. The ultimate of the fruit is the Vajra Song. Born in the southern part of the sacred land of India, Vajrayogini and other four special deities directly took care of him and blessed him. After attaining the immortal Vajra body, he went to Tibet, and then returned to India by miraculous powers, and actually resided in the forest of the mountain called Black Mountain, benefiting sentient beings. The accomplished and empowered yogi Rahula Hidden Vajra spoke this oral instruction for practicing the inconceivable. Homage to all the Lamas! The concise meaning is of yoga. The practice of the four immeasurables (247) is to explain the inconceivable. In the nature of emptiness of cause and effect, form without substance and sound without duality, the aimless result is effortless transformation, like rain without a dragon. Therefore, the ascetic, fortunate yogi with selflessness of nature, all appearances and existence, are without substance, empty, selfless, and the nature is pure. In such great compassion, Buddha and sentient beings are not two, without meditation or thought, the nature is clear, free from extremes and middle is the meaning of the Middle Way, such is the nature of mind.

Thus meditate. For sentient beings who have not realized, meditate on compassion that removes suffering. Whatever is in front of me, remain equally and meditate equally. In that way, the meaning of non-duality will be accomplished in every way. The oral transmission instructions for meditation (248) are the embodiment of all Buddhas. The mind-essence of all beings is the white Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ). Meditate on it in the hearts of oneself and others. Meditate on a drop on the seat of the sun. By that alone, beings can be tamed. Think of purifying all afflictions. This is the meaning of non-duality, but the very nature of the deity is without inherent existence. Having meditated on compassion in this way, for the benefit of others, think of immeasurable love in this way. In the heart of the yogi himself, an eight-petaled lotus the size of a bean. Then, the clear red and white light, in between is the Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Oṃ) syllable of the fire god. There is no yoga of things whatsoever. Do not think anything about it. Whatever yoga is meditated upon, the wisdom of non-duality will be accomplished. The Dharmakāya is without clarity and awareness. Thus, in subtle yoga, (249) direct realization arises and non-duality is realized. When the nature of joy arises, the fruit of equanimity will be obtained. Some abide meditating on the four deities. Some rely on oral recitation. But they do not know the meditation of non-duality. The oral instructions transmitted from mouth to mouth, for the benefit of others, should be explained by Rāhula. Thus it was said. The immortal accomplished one, Rāhula Gupta, as prophesied by the accomplished masters. When the sun rose in India, he went by miraculous power, so at dawn in Tibet, he went to the place where the wise and accomplished Khyunpo Yogi was in retreat, showing the splendor of miraculous power. After staying for eleven months, he gave many common and uncommon instructions, and when he returned to India, (250) the master Shangpa himself went to escort him to Mangyul, and gave this six-verse vajra instruction. The root of suffering is clinging to self. Therefore, abandon partiality and attachment, and rest in the meaning of equality. This life is impermanent and changing, and the next life is uncertain. Therefore, protect cause and effect properly, and diligently keep vows. The nature of reality is union, like a rainbow.
