In the heart, the blue Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, literal meaning: seed syllable) radiating five-colored light, is the nature of the earth element. On the crown of the head, from Vaṃ (བཾ་) arises a white, round nectar mandala, with Maṃ (མཾ་) in the center, and below it, Haṃ (ཧཾ་), white, with its head pointing upwards. At this time, if elaborating, one should contemplate the mandalas of the four elements being filled with these letters.
