By grasping the essence and subduing all Dharma protectors of karma and the world, all supreme and common accomplishments are achieved in just a few months. The four activities are accomplished effortlessly, merely by thought. This unique and uncommon quintessential instruction is to be cherished like life. Therefore, connect by practicing such profound teachings of blessings, starting from offering mandalas and making supplications, etc. Visualize the disciple as the deity, as before. Then, pray to the kind root guru, etc., at the crown of the head of the protector (592) who is inseparable from the torma of the front generation, and visualize the essence of the thirteen Taras, and repeat this supplication. Please bless the precious Lama to subdue all the heroes and dakinis of the three places. Repeat 3 times. After praying in this way, rays of light like iron hooks emanate from the body of the Lama residing on the crown of the Protector. Touching all the heroes and dakinis residing in the ten directions, all of them appear in the form of radiant light. The Lama, the Protector, and the Dakinis dissolve into each other, and the Lama blazes in the nature of light and bliss. The Dakinis dance in red circles. The Protector also shakes the damaru and bell, making buzzing and tinkling sounds, and countless Dakinis arise from his body. Visualize that the entire body of the disciple, clear as the Protector (593), and especially on the sindhura on the forehead, transforms into the thirteen Dakinis who shake the three thousand worlds, and that rays of light like iron hooks emanate from their bodies, radiating in the ten directions, gathering all needs and desires of the world and beyond, and bestowing blessings. Then, recite "Nara Tri Tri" with the skull drum and damaru. By this, the blessing of gathering the Dakinis is accomplished, and in order to grasp the essence of the Protector, repeat the following prayer. Precious Lama, please bless me to grasp the essence of the Protector and his retinue. Repeat three times (594). After praying in this way, rays of light emanate from the body of the Lama residing on the crown of the Protector. Invite all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, all appearing in extremely wrathful forms, dissolving into the Lama, the body of the Lama

With a dark purplish-black hue, emanating red rays, and a fiercely wrathful nature, dance wildly and clamorously on the crown of the Protector, emitting dark purplish-black rays. The Protector and retinue, especially the body of the Protector, are struck by a bright red light, thus placing the Protector and retinue in a crucial position. The Protector dances fiercely and intensely upon the enemies and obstacles, stamping wrathfully on the ground (595). From the mouth, utter the powerful sound of Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) Phaṭ (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Devanagari: फट, Romanized Sanskrit: phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Phaṭ), and with three eyes glaring fiercely at the retinue, the retinue also becomes uncontrollably wrathful. With iron hooks, draw out the hearts of those harmful, hostile, and sinful beings who obstruct the practice of the sacred Dharma; bind their throats with ropes; restrain their limbs with iron fetters, then kill, cut, and chop them. Devour their hearts and essence, and let the retinue consume all flesh and bones. Bless them by destroying all harmful enemies and obstacles into particles of dust. Visualize the offering as Wisdom Protector, and from the Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om) at the crown of the head, white light emanates. It strikes the Oṃ at the crown of the disciple's head, and the Oṃ becomes clear and transparent, with the nature of light. From it, a stream of nectar flows, filling the entire body, thus purifying the obscurations of the body (597). Generate the belief that the blessing of the Protector's body has entered. Do this, then play music and burn incense. Again, visualize the offering as Wisdom Protector, and from the Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah) at the throat, red light emanates.
