Ah la, a great sound of music arose. A white man said, "Lift up from here," and then left. Behind the rock, there was a palace made of jewels, inside which a great chief deity was surrounded by a grand retinue of noble Tara. As he approached her, that chief deity said, "Your virtuous deeds have been established. Now, I will bless you with my blessings." Having said this, that chief deity placed her hand on his head. All the Taras simultaneously placed their hands on his head and bestowed blessings, thereby causing immeasurable good experiences and realizations to arise. It is said that he practiced day and night without interruption, integrating Dharma into life, for a long time. While performing Chöd in dangerous places, actual waterfall strikes, stone rain, being dragged, and unbearable heart attacks, etc., occurred. However, the Chöd was not interrupted, nor were the gods and demons subdued, not controlled, nor was there a single vow that was not kept. In particular, this place seems to hate Dharma and is very venomous. It is said that, like servants, they listened to my greetings, farewells, and occasional meetings, etc. Furthermore, he developed extraordinary compassion for sentient beings, to the extent that he had to cry incessantly. It is said that if one indulges in this too much, it could lead to heart disease. To counter this, it is important to focus on who is the compassionate one, towards what object compassion is directed, and how compassion arises, etc., and to abide in the non-conceptual Mahamudra. The Lama asked, "Which Yidam (444) did you take as the main one?" He replied, "Initially, it was Chakrasamvara. Each day, I would recite three million seven-syllable mantras. Then, I had a dream in which all sentient beings, equal to space, were praying in unison, thinking, 'Please indicate which deity is my Yidam.' So I prayed intensely. Great Compassionate One and his retinue of three deities appeared and said, 'The Yidam of monks should be the Great Compassionate One as the main one.' From then on, I first saw his face in dreams, and later sometimes saw his face in reality." When asked if he had seen the faces of other Yidams, he said, "Yidams such as Chakrasamvara, and the lineage of Wisdom Dakinis, etc..."

I also met the previous lamas. After seeing them once at first, they were later regarded as Kadampa. When asked, "What is the matter with taking Gonpo's teachings as a vow?" (The answer was:) "It seems to be Gonpo's retinue. Four acharyas came, and one of them said, 'Are you going to give all the blood in your stomach to others?'" After that, it was given to some people who truly practiced the Dharma, saying that it was not given to everyone who came to ask for it. Also, when performing consecration, the rituals were performed during the day, and dreams were taken at night. In each drop of ink, the wisdom deity of each deity was placed. Countless deities were absorbed into the supports of body, speech, and mind. Since countless consecrations were performed in dreams, it was said that it was impossible to make mistakes in consecration. Also, when someone requested a seven-day ritual for the deceased, (the master) said that it was necessary to compassionately observe where the deceased was in the six realms of samsara. He was certain that he had been reborn in the heavenly realm. Also, once, when a slight whirlwind occurred and his health was inquired about, (the master said) that now, no matter what kind of pain phenomena occurred, whether it was wind or wind disorders, etc., at first, apart from the sudden stinging pain, after that, the essence of the pain would only manifest as a comfortable and pleasant ease. The phenomenon of pain would not disappear at all. Furthermore, (446) spitting saliva and drinking bathwater could eliminate diseases and evil spirits, etc. He continuously made blessed water and mantra pills of the Great Compassion Mantra and gave them to everyone who came to ask for them. Merely applying them to any ailment such as diseases, harms, leprosy, wounds, sores, swellings, and scabies, etc., would effortlessly eliminate them, and so on, producing many benefits. In addition, generating the intention to seek the Dharma, entering the path of practice, seeing (the master's) face, generating virtuous deeds on the night of empowerment, obtaining the necessary soil and stones for the master, fetching water and firewood, etc., no matter what service was performed with body, speech, and mind, virtuous deeds would arise, and so on, many things occurred, and it was also confirmed through personal experience. In terms of Dharma, all the offerings were used for the master's seasonal offerings, monthly offerings, offerings to the Sangha, donations without establishing a hierarchy, and only for virtuous purposes. Later, (the master) said that he could not do this kind of giving back and forth, so he vowed (447) not to accept any possessions.
