I, inseparable from the body of the Triumphant One, and the small booklet that offers advice to myself, the scriptures that compile the wonderful teachings of the Sutras and Lamas, the vajra bell, the three Dharma robes, and the ink bottle, it is said. Every day, there was a vow of three (404) thousand prostrations and circumambulations, and countless acts of generosity such as water offerings and food offerings. The six heart practices of the Shangpa Lama lineage, which are the mind of enlightenment that does not associate with the lesser vehicle, the confession vows that do not associate with transgressions, the feast gatherings that do not associate with ordinariness, the accumulation of merit that does not associate with nihilistic views, the dedication that does not associate with unskilled means, and the six that do not associate with conceptualization, the non-conceptual, were never separated from. Day and night, six times a day, the practice of nourishment, the generation of bodhicitta, and the self-enjoyment of empowerments were constantly performed. All four modes of conduct, teaching the Dharma, and reciting mantras were done while holding the breath. Always practicing alone in the mountains, it is necessary to have someone like me who spends their life in the mountains and earns the name of a mountain recluse. Now, even the place where I die, I will make it a place where I hear the call of the cuckoo, it is said. The entire first half of the month (405) is spent in retreat. During the time of teaching the Dharma in the second half of the month, even in the evening, he would go to his sleeping quarters and not engage in any greetings, maintaining silence for a long time, and even for a single cup of tea dregs or a single offering of food yoga, he would offer a hundred thousand tormas, and accomplish all the virtuous deeds such as writing and reading scriptures. All the wealth and possessions that came into his hands were dedicated to the Three Jewels and sentient beings, and he did not cling to them as his own. The miraculous signs were that when he was staying in the mountains, his body had no shadow, and he was able to know the thoughts of sentient beings, past and future lives, and the past and future, it is said. When bestowing the empowerment of Chakrasamvara, he transformed into Chakrasamvara and directly saw the real Chakrasamvara, and when bestowing the empowerment of Amitayus, he saw Amitayus, and when bestowing the empowerment of the five tantra classes, heroes and dakinis helped to draw the mandala, and he saw the assembly of deities of the five tantra classes filling the sky, and during the empowerment of the illusory body (406), a leper was present in the assembly and was cured as if wiping dust off a conch shell, and also royal diseases, tumors, dropsy, epilepsy, and so on.

Healing from illnesses like infantile diseases and damages caused by earth spirits, even a single request for empowerment would result in recovery, which is beyond words. Merely hearing the name of the Lama would give rise to virtuous thoughts, lead one onto the path, bring one to Yol Valley, allow one to meet the Lama, receive empowerment, and so on, with numerous instances of virtuous thoughts arising. In short, all who met and requested Dharma would manifest auspicious signs, with virtuous thoughts arising. Through this power, both the monastic colleges for study and meditation, the Vinaya holders and the Kadampa, the new and old Secret Mantras, and even patrons, both male and female, received guidance. The Lama's activities of body, speech, and mind were as boundless as the sky, with disciples spread from the shores of the outer ocean of China to India and as far as Jalandhara. The Lama said, "You will gather hundreds of thousands of assemblies." He also said, "Yol cannot even accommodate the seat cushions of the monks." But the monks of the degenerate age are unruly and difficult to manage. When the disciples requested to leave, the Lama said, "Then, let them each strive for liberation and make that the auspicious connection for their separation." With a good intention and diligence for the benefit of beings, the Lama accomplished more than was prophesied. Then, before passing away, due to previous karmic connections, he went to Shang, where he made prostrations and offerings to the relics of the time of Lama Shangpa. Regarding the relics held by others, the Lama said, "They should be returned to the owners of the relics." Thus, many wonderful relics of Lama Shangpa came into his possession. Through this power, the people of the Shang Valley were guided to the Dharma. Furthermore, Geshis, officials, nobles, and ordinary officials from Tsang, all renowned individuals, requested empowerments and Dharma teachings from the Lama. During the three months that the Lama resided at the Rakshasa Mountain on the right, he gave over three thousand one hundred teachings, from which over four hundred highly respected Geshis emerged. He bestowed the lineage of Great Compassion upon six hundred individuals on a single seat, and the Opening of the Sky upon eight hundred. The generation of Bodhicitta and the feast gatherings were countless. Then, the Lama said, "If I die now, it may cause trouble for you all." So he went to Ribong, and when he arrived at Yol, the entire sky was filled with rainbows. Upon arriving at his residence, he said to all who came to see him, "This time, I have also done some benefit for sentient beings. Even if I do not die this year or next, I will eventually pass away,
