Just as the victorious ones abide in the ten directions, Although their bodies have no flesh, bones, or sinews, For the benefit of sentient beings, they enter into realms, And perform the activities of emanation bodies. Thus it is said. For each sentient being, there arises an emanation, just as each water vessel is filled with the moon. How much do these emanation bodies accomplish for sentient beings? They do so until samsara is empty. As the scripture says: As long as space remains, one revolves in samsara for the sake of others. How could compassionate ones ever tire? Thus it is said. The appearance of the two teachers is of the same essence, but the way they appear to those to be tamed by the two vehicles is different. In the Vajra Arali Tantra, it is said: Due to the difference between cause and effect, the Paramita Vehicle and the Mantra Vehicle are taught as two. Thus it is said. The retinue is not fixed: For all sentient beings of the six realms, those to be tamed are immeasurable, and the emanations that tame them also arise immeasurably. Among them, the outer tantras, the three grounds, say: All you six kinds of beings who have become disciples of the Sugata, listen, all who dwell in the world realm! Today, the teacher is showering the rain of Dharma, may all individuals come here! This is like the example of the patient, doctor, and attendant. The Dharma is not fixed: Various vehicles are taught. In the Bhadracaryapranidhana, it is also said: The language of gods, the language of nagas and yakshas, the language of potters and the language of humans, and however many sounds there are of all beings, I teach the Dharma in all languages. Therefore, the emanation body teaches the Dharma in the three realms. How does one teach? Again, in the minds of sentient beings, there are 84,000 afflictions. 21,000 arise from desire, and likewise, anger, ignorance, and the equal combination of the three. As an antidote to these, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, with great compassion and skillful means, taught 84,000 doors of Dharma. To subdue desire, there are 21,000; likewise, to subdue anger, there is the Sutra Pitaka; to subdue ignorance, there is the Abhidharma Pitaka; and for the equal combination of the three, there are 21,000 of the Mantra and Vidyadhara Pitaka, totaling 84,000. If these are summarized, there are three
