He also spoke of my past and future rebirths in greater detail than before, as well as the lifespan of this life. The Lama also said: In the middle of a green meadow, there is a mountain. Your monastery will be built on that mountain. At that time, the hidden yogis will drink alcohol, eat evening feasts, and attend to all kinds of retinues. They will say that he is not considered a monk. Also, do not wear good clothes, but lie like a tiger in the nettle patch. The beginning of all Dharmas is the generation of Bodhicitta, and the end is not making dedications. Do not exaggerate the methods of accomplishment and the instructions, but show them as if you do not know them. In general, you will receive many Dharma connections. In particular, there will be ten disciples who are certain to attain the lineage of accomplished ones. In my dream, the relics of Lama Shangpa were shaking like human hands, and ten appeared. Each of them took one relic and left. I asked: Whose retinue are you? They said: We are the retinue of Sangye Nyenton. Now you will have someone known as Sangye Nyenton. I prefer each disciple to hundreds and thousands of monks. In this rebirth, there are no disciples more perfect than the two of us. After this rebirth, the pure lands of the disciples, the retinue, the length of life, the activities, and the benefit of beings will be naturally accomplished, perfect, continuous, immeasurable, and inexpressible. Countless sentient beings will be ripened and liberated, so there is no need for doubt or hesitation. (312) Even in this life, all who see you and hear you will not fall into the lower realms. All who receive Dharma connections and have devotion will become the first of the retinue in the pure lands in the next life and drink nectar. Needless to say, enlightenment will be attained. After saying this, he bestowed all the prophecies of pure great bliss, along with the seal. Now, among these monks of U-Tsang and Kham, you are the sole lineage holder. The special instructions of Lama Shangpa, not one was given to others, but all were given to you. After saying this, he also nodded his head. Instructions!

I wrote down the key points and proofread them in your presence. I even became arrogant, thinking there was no greater teaching than mine. I stayed in Kyergang for thirteen summers and winters, practicing diligently. The Lama's wishes were also fulfilled. After that, I went to Lama Tsangpa Chen in Drigung to request teachings, but it didn't help with that small obstacle. I came to Yol (presumably present-day Lhoka region) and made a tsokhor (gathering feast) in Gungbu Khar. At that time, the skull ornament wearer said, "This tsokhor is good, but the pure lands of these people are not pure." Therefore, pure lands are very important. At that time, I also requested teachings from Jetsunma on accumulating food and wealth. After that, I went to Shulo Pangkar, thinking that now I must either die or eliminate this obstacle and become an enlightened one. So I did a strict three-year retreat. Then, one day I wanted to get up and stretch my limbs, and I saw a yogi coming. I asked, "Where do you come from? Who is your Lama? What do you know?" He said, "I come from India. My Lama is called Durtropa (meaning Cemetery Practitioner). I know the deathless vajra chain." I said, "Then I should request that teaching." He said, "This is the Dharma of kings, and it requires great wealth. Each vajra chain requires a good tsokhor, one tael of gold, and a piece of silk." I thought, "I can't meet the conditions for this Dharma." Just as I was hesitating, many Kham students said, (314) "Lopon, you go ahead and request it. Whatever conditions are needed, we will fulfill them." After requesting the deathless vajra chain, the previous obstacles disappeared automatically that night. After that, seven months later, the practice of the deathless vajra chain was completed. He said, "You gather all the conditions yourself. I will go around Lhasa and come back." Then he went to Lhasa. I offered many wheels, gold, turquoise, and silk. He said, "I don't need these riches. I just wanted to see if you keep your vows. My Lama, the Black Cemetery Practitioner, came once in the inner, outer, and secret dimensions through magical power, and said there were no capable disciples, so he returned to India. The Lama said to me, 'Go to the east of Kharag, there is a trainable person like you there. Teach him these deathless teachings.' The Black Cemetery Practitioner gave the prophecy, so I came from India.
