For some reason, I experienced severe pain and was constantly groaning. I asked him, "Why are you suffering like this?" He said, "Because I taught the profound secrets of the Great Vehicle for the sake of this life, I am experiencing intense suffering." I remembered what had happened before and thought, "That might happen to me too." Just then, his illness and suffering infected me, and I felt immeasurable pain. When I realized it was a dream, the pain disappeared. From then on, I developed a deep faith in the law of karma. Afterwards, fearing that I would be called to be the abbot, I left before dawn. When I arrived at Gathang, I met a group of (180) Geshes from Tsang (Tibet), who were on their way to see Lama Lhaje. At that time, I chatted with a beggar named Gomja, who kindly helped me carry my luggage. When we arrived at a place called Trudo, a heavy snow fell in the evening. The other disciples of the Lama and the donors from Tsang said, "If the Lama is staying in Stoblung, this snow will prevent us from getting through the winter," and they were very distressed. I said, "Should I have a dream to see?" They said, "Then take a look." I had a dream and saw that the Lama was not staying in Stoblung. There were twenty-one people there. It was not near the village, but in front of a very high rock mountain among many rock mountains. I said, "If the dream is true, then he should be staying there." The women said, "The Lama is staying in Gompo." After that, they said, "Have another dream to see if there will be danger in all the valleys." I had a dream and saw that we could get there. They said, "Your dream is very sharp (181), let's call you 'Sharp Dream Little Monk'," and they named me that. Later, when I arrived in Ei-Nang, I asked the monks, and they said, "The Lama went from Stoblung to Gompo." Those Geshes said, "Your divination or dream is very sharp." Afterwards, when I arrived at Gompo's Lhaye, the Lama was also carrying a Buddha statue and a box.

He took it. He also took a silk scarf and went to see Laye. I haven't seen you all until now, so now I have to welcome you. Put the luggage here and said, "Take a trip," and we went to buy butter. The Geshe escorts said, "It seems like they are welcoming us this time." Saying that, he handed the silk scarf to me and put the wooden box on the ground, asking, "Has my son come? We were originally teachers and disciples for many lifetimes, and we only met in this life." Saying that, he shed many tears and sang this song. From many lifetimes ago, we two have been teachers and disciples. With that vow without hypocrisy, we now gather at the cave of the practitioner. Has my son come here? Has the faithful one come here?" and so on, he sang these songs. I involuntarily shed tears, and at that time, a good calm abiding arose. After that, I went to the Lama's residence to pay respects. After my Lama Shangpa the Great passed away, I practiced, and such experiences of the path, illusory body, dream luminosity, etc., arose. I came to ask if this can reach the ultimate goal. After Lama Shangpa passed away, there is no one other than you, Lama, to ask. I said that now I need to request a complete guidance on the Six Dharmas. The Lama said, "You have generated a good realization of the Six Dharmas, but it seems that a conclusion needs to be made on the view." So he said the eighth verse of Mahamudra and the fifth introduction, and I developed confidence in the view. After that, the Lama said, "Prepare your own provisions and listen to the Six Dharmas once regarding the method of practice. I have vowed not to teach the practice and these Six Dharmas." I said, "Am I better than the method of practice?" The Lama said, "Since you are a yogi who has attained freedom in dreams, then dream! I will guide you." After that, I went to the hut and prayed before dawn. At dawn, I dreamed and went to see the Lama, and the Lama completely taught the Six Dharmas once, saying, "You haven't forgotten when you woke up, and you should continue to maintain it without forgetting." After that, I went to see the Lama and said, "These Six Dharmas that you taught yesterday, Lama,
