In the forest of Lava, in the cave of the banyan tree, a manifestation body constantly resides. It is said that Saraha and Shavaripa performed the sadhana. This is the oral tradition of the translator Gar Chosang. It also agrees with what is said in the tantra known as the "Potala Lam Yig," that this protector resides in Potala. Some also believe that this protector resides in the stupa of glorious Drepung Monastery, and was invited by the teacher Nagarjuna and the Brahmin Supreme Attachment. All of these are because of different places, times, and circumstances. Everything is in accordance with the meaning and is only the truth. Thirdly, in general, there have been many translators in Tibet regarding this Dharma protector. Gyi Cho Dawa Ozer listened to the attendant of Pandit Mimnyam Dorje and translated Shavari's short treatise. It is said that this tradition only has the Dharma class of the three, recitation (727), sadhana, and activity, of the solitary protector. Gyal Tengpa translator Garo Tsultrim Jungne, it is said, relied on Pandit Shanta Akara to translate. This sadhana can be seen everywhere in Tibetan ancient books, and it seems to be the one known as the Six Cycles of Dakinis. Also, the translator Gar Chosang listened to Pandit Atayavajra and translated the sadhana of Saraha and Shavari, etc. This tradition also has two types, with and without consort, but the retinue is only the four surrounding dakinis. It is very similar to the instructions of Kyungpo. Some say that Ataya is a writing error. To say that Adayavajra has the same meaning as the non-dual Vajra Maitripa is just speculation. The meaning of Adaya is universal giving or supreme love. The letters ta and da may have errors, but there is no contradiction with the differences in dialects. In general, if one needs to argue about writing errors and abbreviations, it would be too much. Mimnyam Dorje and Adayavajra (728) are also the gurus of the wise and accomplished Kyungpo. Even so, those traditions do not have complete recitation, sadhana, and activity, only brief ones, and there are no extensive Dharma classes. Nowadays, the Dharma lineage also does not exist. Therefore, this protector's Dharma class is vast and profound, without alteration or adulteration, and is the splendor of blessings.

The glorious activity that is unmatched and pervades the entire earth is solely the tradition of the accomplished Khyunpo Naljorpa. That is, the accomplished Khyunpo Naljorpa, his lineage was Khyunpo, his birthplace was Nyemo. First, he became proficient in Bon, gathering a sangha of about seven hundred. Then he entered the Dharma of Dzogchen, gathering about three hundred disciples. Then he relied on Korni Rupa, and heard all the cycles of Hevajra, Yamantaka, and Mahamudra. At the age of fifty-two, he went to Nepal, and from then on, for about fifty years, he traveled between China, Nepal, and Tibet. He relied on one hundred and fifty Indian scholars, mastering all the Sutras, Tantras, grammar, logic, treatises, and instructions (p. 729). His common gurus were the great Bodhgaya Sonam Jungne, Maitripa, the hidden yogi Rahula, and the four of them. His uncommon gurus were the wisdom dakinis Niguma and Sukhasiddhi, these six being his root gurus. During his second trip to India, he enjoyed the heart essence of countless accomplished ones, such as the two-faced wisdom dakini. When he was about to return to Tibet, he offered the remaining large amount of gold as Dharma provisions to the lord Maitripa, and requested, "We Tibetans have little prosperity, please grant us a Dharma that quickly accomplishes wealth and has significant signs." Then Maitripa told the previous history of this protector, also called the Great Compassionate Black One, also called the Protector with the Wooden Pile. Just by relying on him initially, all needs and desires will arise. Just by thinking of him, obstacles will be removed. Praying to him will turn all enemies into dust, he will show his face without practice, he can avert, and diseases and demons cannot enter. Common (p. 730) practice will incidentally produce excellence, give this Dharma protector like a wish-fulfilling jewel. Opening the door with the power of profound samadhi, he completely bestowed the instructions of this Dharma protector, and finally said this: In general, not breaking the vows, and especially the black bean raw Torma, and the uncommon incense and other samaya substances being complete and unpolluted, not throwing stones at black birds and black dogs, and having faith in him, etc., are the Protector's
