我因此对他生起信心而顶礼膜拜。献上九份哈达供养，又向您的母亲献上五份中的一份，您以前非常干净。现在仍然要保持像以前一样的干净，不要让楼梯等处出现污垢，这是我们的上师。现在迎请的座位已经准备好了。我会在卡热江（Khara Jang）的一个寺庙里住一晚。然后去曲沃日（Chuwo Ri）和贡嘎（Gonggar）方向。那些地方大概要住一个月（698年）。之后再回到仁波切身边。”说完就离开了。他刚走，父亲尊巴非常不高兴，说：“我的小儿子像天神一样，他却带走了，真是个贪吃的家伙。”于是拿着供品哈达、一件新袍子、一块白布、一个瓷碗、一个白色氆氇罩，追了上去。正当法王丹增要出发的时候，父亲尊巴向法王丹增献上供养，说道：“我们热罗扎瓦多吉扎（Rwa Lotsawa Dorje Drak）的传承，像金链一样不会中断，这个寺院是方便与智慧相结合的地方，在这里护持密宗的教法，并且有具足信心和誓言的广大施主，所以必须要守护他们。现在我们这些老家伙就像老鹿的角一样，而这个传承的继承人就像额头上的眼睛一样。恳请您不要像之前说的那样（699年）带走他。这个小儿子对我们很重要，请不要带走他，因为他是您上师的转世。”说完，就把这些供养献了上去。法王丹增说：“请您不要这样说。您的传承继承人肯定还会有。您还很年轻。现在我相信这个人就是至尊上师的转世。如果因为我们自己说他不是转世而出了什么事就不好了。你们的福报也会越来越圆满。只要把这个叫做‘仲’的地方的一点东西，作为迎请上师转世的酬金献给你们父母就行了。这次我会在卡热（Khara）住一晚，然后立刻去贡嘎（Gonggar），迎请上师的转世，不要说是酬金。”

Therefore, I developed faith in him and prostrated. I offered nine khatas as offerings, and also offered one out of five sets to your mother, you used to be very clean before. Now you still have to maintain the cleanliness as before, and don't let dirt appear on the stairs, etc., this is our lama. Now the seat for invitation is ready. I will stay one night at a monastery in Khara Jang. Then I will go to the direction of Chuwo Ri and Gonggar. I will probably stay in those places for about a month (698). After that, I will come back to Rinpoche.” After saying that, he left. As soon as he left, Father Drungpa was very unhappy and said, "My little son is like a god, but he took him away, he is really a gluttonous guy." So he took the offerings of khatas, a new robe, a piece of white cloth, a porcelain bowl, and a white woolen cover, and chased after him. Just as Dharma Lord Tenzin was about to leave, Father Drungpa made offerings to Dharma Lord Tenzin and said, "Our lineage of Rwa Lotsawa Dorje Drak, like a golden chain, will not be interrupted. This monastery is a place where convenience and wisdom are combined. Here, the teachings of the secret mantra are upheld, and there are vast patrons who have faith and vows, so they must be protected. Now we old guys are like the horns of old deer, and this heir of the lineage is like the eye on the forehead. Please don't take him away as I said before (699). This little son is very important to us, please don't take him away because he is the reincarnation of your lama." After saying that, he offered these offerings. Dharma Lord Tenzin said, "Please don't say that. You will definitely have heirs to your lineage. You are still young. Now I believe that this person is the clear reincarnation of the supreme lama. If something goes wrong because we ourselves say that he is not a reincarnation, it will not be good. Your blessings will also become more and more complete. Just take a little something from this place called 'Drang' as a reward for inviting the reincarnation of the lama to your parents. This time I will stay one night in Khara, and then immediately go to Gonggar to invite the reincarnation of the lama, don't say it's a reward."
