He departed to Sukhavati, the realm of bliss. At that time, while dwelling in the presence of the Sugata, and while attending to his illness, his wisdom became clear, and effortless samadhi arose spontaneously, and many wondrous signs appeared. Also, at the time of cremation, light arose from the east and pierced the reliquary. Then, from all directions, rainbows pierced the reliquary, and (600) until the ashes emerged, the sky was filled with rainbows. For the sake of future generations' faith, divine images and relics appeared from his remains, along with many wondrous signs. May all faithful individuals of future generations be reborn in Sukhavati! That holy lama has certainly departed to Sukhavati. The reason for this is that after his passing, it was kept secret for several days. The disciple Gyaltsen Gon, while in a solitary hermitage, at dawn, four women adorned with bone ornaments and turquoise jewelry appeared, accompanied by musical instruments, and said: "It has been three days since the lama passed away, and you are keeping it secret. The lama has gone to Sukhavati. We are going there as well, so please pray." Also, in the dream of a herdsman, the lama displayed many forms of his body, and showed many ways to practice the pure illusory body and the impure illusory body, and then said: "I am going to Sukhavati, so please pray there." In the dream of the disciple Drub Seng, in a place called Sukhavati (601), there were two dharma thrones facing each other, and the lama was seated on the western throne, teaching the Dharma to a large assembly. He said, "I also dreamed of listening to the Dharma." The next day, at dawn when offering the moon, in the dream of the disciple Jamdor, many dakinis adorned with crowns and bone ornaments were in the sleeping quarters. When they came to the lama's seat, a dakini who was in her prime and had a dark complexion was there, and said: "These are all dakinis, and I am also asleep." Thinking that he should ask them where the lama was, he grabbed that dakini and asked, "Where is the lama?" The dakini replied, "Pray to Sukhavati, he is there." Also, in his dream, a precious one appeared and sat on a pile of grain, and said: "Please open that thangka of Chakrasamvara." After it was opened, he said: "Chant Yangram Butek." A small voice

Samdrup. The previous one was in accordance with Manjushri's prayer (602), but I didn't grasp it. The latter one: In this era of disputing the dregs of the path, we don't even have a moment to stay for long. Therefore, we must strive on the path with fierce diligence. The posture of speaking and waking up from sleep. Remembering the Lama and praying, we wondered what we could do to nurse him and stayed by his side for so long. Even though he gave so much advice from his side, we were saddened because we couldn't understand which pure land he was going to. We thought that if he appeared in a dream, we should ask. Mostly, he appeared in dreams when he wasn't sick, so we couldn't understand. Wondering what to do, we prayed. That very night, at dawn, the Lama appeared in a dream, showing the appearance of being sick. He was sitting with his head propped up and his left foot on the bare ground. We lifted him up from his foot, and his foot was on the bare ground. We asked him to sit on a cushion. The Lama said, "Wait a little, I'm going." (603) We asked, "Are you leaving now?" He replied, "I'm leaving now." We asked, "Which pure land are you going to, Lama? Where should we pray?" He replied, "Make a headrest and pray there, because I must go to Sukhavati." We asked, "How will you take care of us with your compassion?" He replied, "Give me that turquoise." There was a green gau box. We offered it to his hand, and he opened it and said, "Look at these two." The mirror was outside, and he showed it to many people. Then he put both of them back into the gau box. When we woke up, we thought that the silver mirror he showed was a symbol of looking into the mirror of the mind. The green silk belt was a symbol of tying the belt of diligence. It was in agreement with the sound and essence of the previous night, and certainty arose. Like this, many signs of going to Sukhavati appeared to the faithful disciples, (604) so future faithful people should not have doubt, hesitation, or wrong views. Pray in Sukhavati. You will definitely be born in that supreme pure land. The Lama's qualities are like an ocean, impossible to describe or measure, but here I have only spoken of a drop of water. If there are any faults in this, I ask the assembly of Lamas to forgive me. May all beings attain Buddhahood through virtue.
