Recognizing in the very first instant, in the great stillness of intrinsic emptiness, practice the co-emergent wisdom of appearance and emptiness as the unobstructed manifestation of a deity. As the *Gura Tantra* says: 'Emptiness, stainless, is the sacred place, the very nature of dreams and illusion.' As long as it is not destroyed, contemplate the nature of mind. *The Two-in-One Vajra* says: 'The aspect of the mind of bliss is said to be a deity. Wisdom is emptiness. Transforming into the means of various wheels, the attainment of its essence fulfills desires.' Third, the practice of the causal Dharmakāya like the sky: Just as the sky is, so also should one know dependent arising. The meaning of this is that on top of all dharmas, seeing the intrinsically pure Dharmakāya manifest as the complete purification of adventitious stains is called the causal result like the sky. Its practice is: settling into the way of abiding of whatever appears as the Dharmakāya, therefore there is no delusion. Therefore, since there is nothing to abandon or attain, one should practice it. *The Prophecy of Intent* says: 'Beyond both existence and non-existence, abiding without abiding, from this nature of the sky, arises the wisdom of omniscience.' *The Summary of Empowerment* says: 'Thus, even the collection of objects does not change supremely by eating. The very nature of not changing changes. All aspects hold their own nature.' Fourth, separating from the four confusions, establishing the four times of dependent arising in which the unconfused self-nature stands: Separating from the four confusions, establishing the four times of dependent arising in which the unconfused self-nature stands, including: establishing the basis—the dependent arising of vows and commitments; establishing the dependent arising of devotion before the guru; establishing the dependent arising of renouncing the world at the time of practice; establishing the dependent arising of altruistic bodhicitta at the time of benefiting others. First is: 'Abiding in vows' means that all actions of the three doors abide in the uncontaminated sphere, therefore it is called vows. Not being stained by the impurity of adultery is also that. Therefore, from the aspect of abandoning what is incompatible, it is vows; from the aspect of not separating from what is compatible, it is commitments; body, speech, and mind abandoning ordinary actions and abiding in asceticism, and all vows being perfected in the essence of one wisdom, is not well-known in the common vehicle, and is a characteristic of yogis. If one realizes such a key point, one will not be particularly attached to artificial precepts. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If these are not understood in this way, they become steps on the path to misdirection. Therefore, temporarily engaging in practices that align with one's capacity, and ultimately being able to transform them into definitive meaning, then the purpose of Dharma is accomplished. As it is said in the 'Root Verses on Discipline': 'The discipline of all Buddhas is established in the letter E-VAM (藏文:ཨེ་ཝཾ,梵文天城体:एवं,梵文罗马拟音:evaṃ,汉语字面意思:Thus), the activities of body, speech, and mind are all completely contained. Discipline is the supreme bliss of enlightenment, it is invisible and inexpressible.' Also, as it is said in the 'Vajra Garland Tantra': 'Whoever protects discipline is said to be the mind of enlightenment.' Furthermore, as it is said in the 'Oral Instructions of Manjushri': 'Thus, a vessel possessing vows and discipline, like a container filled with clear water, the yogi should carefully observe, in which the image of wisdom will appear.' Therefore, one should abide in the supreme discipline of body, speech, and mind. Secondly, establishing the auspicious connection of devotion to the Guru: 'Possessing reverence for the Guru,' which means visualizing the root Guru in the center of the lotus that has blossomed at the crown of one's head or in one's heart, offering and praising with limitless offerings, and praying to realize the auspicious connection of the ultimate fruition that arises from the suchness (the true nature of things) and the all-encompassing suchness (the infinite manifestations of things). Remaining single-pointedly in devotion connected with such conceptualizations will lead to the expansion of experiential skills, and through devotion that is integrated with this, one purifies attachment and realizes the nature of reality. When the skill of realizing the nature of reality arises as devotion, all phenomena will be equally united with the Vajra Body of the holy Guru, the Vajra Speech, the Vajra Mind, and the Vajra Wisdom, thereby manifesting the yoga of the single path of the closest approach to the blessings of the unsurpassed essence. Thirdly, at the time of practice, the auspicious connection of abandoning worldly concerns: 'Not being attached to these,' the practitioner should remember the suffering of beginningless and endless samsara, and desiring to attain the bliss of nirvana, one should cultivate the perception of suffering in all situations of samsara, thereby completely abandoning attachment. In order to accomplish the state of the Great Vajradhara, one should not even be attached to body and life. Even to a substance as small as a sesame seed, one should abandon the attachment of grasping at the duality of grasper and grasped. In order to avoid distraction and regression, one should abandon attachment to seeking worldly attainments, such as minor siddhis and the eight great siddhis, thereby focusing one's mind single-pointedly on non-conceptual attainment alone. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
