It is eliminated by focusing on the lotus (Tibetan: ལེ་ལ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: कमल, Sanskrit Romanization: kamala, Chinese literal meaning: lotus). The state of emptiness and vastness is the state of not wanting to dream. For this, focus on the bindu at the secret place and practice pranayama. In particular, please the heroes and dakinis with a tsok offering. Second, regarding purification: 'From then on, purify,' if you dream of fire, think, 'What is there to fear in a dream fire?' and then jump on the fire, etc. For whatever you dream, be brave to face it and get used to it, so that you can see various pure lands. For this, before going to sleep, visualize clearly in the red bindu in the center of the throat all the qualities of the pure land you want to see, and maintain this focus. In this way, you will be able to achieve seeing Tushita (Tibetan: དགའ་ལྡན།, Sanskrit Devanagari: तुषित, Sanskrit Romanization: Tuṣita, Chinese literal meaning: Joyful), Sukhavati (Tibetan: བདེ་བ་ཅན།, Sanskrit Devanagari: सुखावती, Sanskrit Romanization: Sukhāvatī, Chinese literal meaning: Blissful), Abhirati (Tibetan: མངོན་པར་དགའ་བ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अभिरति, Sanskrit Romanization: Abhirati, Chinese literal meaning: Manifest Joy), etc., any pure land you desire. Third, regarding practicing illusion: 'Practicing illusion, at that time abandon fear,' if you dream of fire, transform it into water, using the opposite antidote. If you dream of something small, transform it into something big; transform something big into something small. Get used to changing the size of the power, dreaming of one becoming many, and many becoming one. In the dream, visualize your body and everything you see as an illusory deity body, so that they will appear as deities. Fourth, regarding meditating on reality: 'Meditating on the meaning of reality,' seeing all the appearances in the dream as deities, thereby purifying the habitual tendencies of the dream. Focusing on the deity body, abiding in it without modification, the appearance of the deity naturally subsides into a state of non-objectification, thereby manifesting the clear light of the nature of emptiness of all things. If you become accustomed to this, then there is no difference between falling asleep and waking up, and all appearances will appear as clear light, thereby merging appearance and mind. Clear Light Fourth, regarding clear light, there are three: the ground clear light, the path clear light, and the fruit clear light. First, the ground clear light is: 'In this clear light recognition key instruction, you should clearly understand the ground, path, and fruit.' The great bliss without objectification, the emptiness endowed with all supreme qualities, inseparable from the reality of all dharmas—the reality of the mind—is called the natural clear light. Second, regarding the path clear light, there are three: merging the path with nature during the day, merging the path with nature at night, and merging the path with nature in the bardo. First, merging the path with nature during the day is: 'If you recognize it, where does it exist? The three wisdoms are certainly completely pure, and you will realize manifest enlightenment.'
