因为梵语词汇Prakrita(प्रकृत,Prakṛta,普拉克利特)意味着‘自然’或‘平凡’,所以‘自然的觉知’就是这个意思。

Merely through a general understanding, all doubts will dissolve on their own, thereby freeing oneself from the bonds of concepts, which is called 'cutting through attachments.' For example, when a person who is frightened by seeing a mottled rope and thinking it is a snake, immediately recognizes that it is a rope, then the notion that it is a snake becomes baseless. Thereafter, just as one can no longer find any characteristics of a snake on the rope. Furthermore, since all illusions and afflictive phenomena have never truly existed, recognizing that illusions are without basis is called 'realizing the reality of illusion.' If there is no illusion, what is there to be liberated from? Because there is no illusion, one cannot find any phenomena of nirvana. Thereafter, illusion and liberation, or samsara and nirvana, are beyond the concepts of what can be designated and the designator, and that is reality. This is also called 'realizing that all dharmas are empty and without self.' It is also called 'becoming the most excellent seeing in the invisible,' as stated in the *Entering the Two Truths Sutra*: 'In the ultimate truth, there is no difference, there is no phenomenon nor nature, in emptiness there is no difference, not even a little exists, through the way of non-discrimination, realizing the truth of emptiness, the view of emptiness is thus spoken, not seeing is seeing, the profound sutra.' Therefore, from the form aggregate to all-knowing wisdom (sarvākārajñatā), all phenomena are not inherently existent, therefore they are not non-empty. Emptiness is also established in relation to non-emptiness, because non-emptiness is not established at all, so the so-called emptiness is not established at all. Therefore, for something that cannot be established anywhere, the name 'view free from extremes' is given. As stated in the *Root Wisdom*: 'If there is a little non-emptiness, then there will be a little emptiness, if there is no little non-empty, how can there be the nature of emptiness? The Buddhas said that emptiness, is to eliminate all views, if one has a view of emptiness, then one is incurable.' Therefore, for such realization, the *Doha Treasury* says: 'What the lama says enters the heart, like seeing a treasure in the palm of one's hand.' This is actually recognizing ordinary awareness. The so-called ordinary awareness, many people nowadays do not understand, but instead cling to some inferior things, which is a huge mistake that has not even touched the edge of grammar. Because the Sanskrit word Prakrita means 'natural' or 'ordinary,' so 'natural awareness' is what it means. If someone thinks that it is just a literal meaning and there is no reliable scriptural basis, then the great Acharya Todeng...

Tsepa said, 'Ordinary awareness awakens in the heart's center; when the six aggregates are purified, great bliss is continuous.' Thus it is said. Therefore, for this ordinary awareness, in some places it is called self-existing luminosity, and in others, the Ground Mahamudra, etc., with limitless names. However, in the tantric texts, this is known as self-existing co-emergent. Although it is explained as the co-emergence of the emptiness of objects and the self-existing luminosity of the subject, in the language of experience, this is the awareness, a spontaneously arising awareness that is clear and uninterrupted. Not knowing this is samsara; knowing it is nirvana. It itself is not biased towards any side; its essence is great bliss, and it is united with emptiness that possesses all the supreme aspects of the subject. That's all; it cannot be expressed in words. As it says in the *Namasangiti* (The recitation of names of Manjushri): 'Abandoning expression in words, it is the supreme cause of all expressions.' Therefore, this is the basis of both samsara and nirvana. As it says in the *Vajra Sekhara Tantra*: 'This itself is called samsara; this itself is nirvana.' 'Because of delusion, it is the form of samsara; without delusion, samsara is pure.' Thus, the basis for explaining samsara and nirvana as one entity is this. Now, if one wonders, 'Is it reasonable to explain self-existing awareness as spontaneously arising awareness?' Spontaneously arising does not mean newly produced, but rather that it arises without obstruction in the interval between the cessation of the previous thought and the arising of the subsequent thought, and therefore it is called that. Although this awareness always arises, it is mostly obscured by the net of thoughts and therefore not manifest. For example, on a sunny day, the sun shines from morning to evening, but when the clouds part slightly, people say the sun has come out, and when the clouds obscure it, they say the sun has set, as is commonly spoken of in the world. Regarding this, Jetsun Milarepa said: 'At the boundary between previous and subsequent thoughts, wisdom constantly arises and dances.' This place is called the 'daytime luminosity' or 'daytime self-existing luminosity' of those who are luminous. Furthermore, this is also called 'instantaneous awareness,' and its meaning is that it does not pass from one state to another, but remains in its original state, and cannot change to anything else, and therefore it is named that. Jetsun Jampa (Lord Maitreya) said: 'As it was before, so it is afterwards; this is the unchanging nature of reality.' This is very consistent with the above view. 'Instantaneous' does not refer to the characteristic of impermanence. Thus, the sutra path... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
