玛巴尊者，若专心致志地隐居于山林， 不应为了口腹之欲而奔波劳碌， 也不应为了养活身体而辛勤积攒， 随遇而安才是最好的修行方式。 当心无杂念，安住于本然状态时， 便不会感到饥渴。 这美妙的状态被称为‘禅定之食’。 当你让身语意三门保持正直时， 身体虽然闲适，心却容易散乱。 这是修行者常犯的错误。 将智慧之箭瞄准内心， 不要让心有片刻的放纵。 在无思无念的状态中，无所事事地， 尽可能地安住于平等舍中。 然后反复学习如何断除烦恼。 神通和证悟会自然显现。 不要让贪婪的肿瘤在心中滋生， 也不要因为获得一点成就而骄傲自满。 以坚韧不拔的毅力完成修行， 你将成为噶举派上师的合格弟子， 继承释迦牟尼佛的教法传统， 巧妙地利益众生。 说‘我’是真是假？ 实践所说之法便知分晓。 我不是一个信口开河的人， 我充满自信，绝不妄语。 如果觉得这位竹巴传承的尊者是好上师，就依止他； 如果觉得谄媚虚伪，就坚决抛弃。 赐予我巨大加持，是因为我精通佛法； 我能听懂并执行您的教诲，是因为我具有智慧。 能给予和能接受，是因为我感到快乐； 心性本自安乐。 了解一即了解一切，这是我一直向往的。 鄙视了解一却执着于一的人。 我擅长讲解白莲花般的教义， 有信心的弟子们只需用心聆听。 能讲解和能听懂，是因为我感到快乐； 心性本自安乐。 南方国土，因时运亨通而繁荣。 远离懒惰的修行者，要以智慧来守护。 利益他人，是修行者的本色。 知恩图报，是美德。 利益他人和知恩图报，是因为我感到快乐； 心性本自安乐。 想要真正修行的愿望从内心深处升起， 心想：散乱和懈怠从何而来？ 当追随上师足迹的时机到来时， 是时候告别三界轮回了。 告别轮回的时机，是因为我感到快乐； 心性本自安乐。 这是在军队驻扎的噶达普新寺所说。 这里是殊胜金刚密咒之地， 也是具大力上师的驻锡之处， 是普贤王如来的喜悦。

Marpa, if you dedicate yourself to solitary mountain retreats, you shouldn't strive for food and sustenance, nor should you exhaust yourself accumulating possessions for the body. It's best to rely on whatever arises. When the mind is free from thoughts, abiding in its natural state, there is no sensation of hunger or thirst. This wonderful state is called 'the food of Samadhi'. When you keep your body, speech, and mind upright, the body may be relaxed, but the mind tends to wander. This is a common mistake for practitioners. Aim the arrow of wisdom at your own heart, and don't allow the mind a moment of indulgence. In a state of non-thought, without busying yourself, as much as possible, abide in equanimity. Then repeatedly learn how to cut off afflictions. Supernatural powers and realizations will naturally arise. Don't let the tumor of greed grow in your heart, nor become arrogant with pride from gaining some accomplishments. Complete your practice with unwavering perseverance, you will become a qualified disciple of the Kagyu lineage masters, inheriting the tradition of Shakyamuni Buddha's teachings, skillfully benefiting all beings. Is it true or false to say 'I'? It becomes clear by putting what is said into practice. I am not someone who speaks carelessly, I am full of confidence and never speak falsely. If you think this Drukpa lineage master is a good teacher, then rely on him; if you find him flattering and hypocritical, then resolutely abandon him. The great blessing was bestowed upon me because I am proficient in the Dharma; I can understand and carry out your teachings because I have wisdom. Being able to give and being able to receive is because I feel joy; the nature of mind is inherently blissful. Knowing one is knowing all, this is what I have always longed for. Despise those who know one but cling to it. I am skilled at explaining the white lotus-like teachings, faithful disciples only need to listen attentively. Being able to explain and being able to understand is because I feel joy; the nature of mind is inherently blissful. The southern kingdom prospers because of favorable times. Stay away from lazy practitioners, and guard it with wisdom. Benefiting others is the nature of practitioners. Being grateful is a virtue. The genuine desire to practice arises from the depths of my heart, I wonder: where do distraction and laziness come from? When the time comes to follow in the footsteps of the masters, it is time to bid farewell to the three realms of samsara. On the summit of the beautiful and charming high mountain, The verdant meadows shimmer with magnificent splendor. Clouds and mist swirl, creating a spectacular sight, Birds frolic and play, delighting the heart. This is the place where you relinquish all worldly endeavors. Sandalwood forests and medicinal herbs abound in the valley, Temples and small houses surround the area. Practitioners gather here. This is an auspicious place to realize a meaningful life. If you wish to learn and contemplate, come now. This is a village where faithful patrons gather, Prosperous and flourishing, filled with people. Here you find goods from red-faced Tibetans and Han Chinese, You can trade as you please. If you wish to become wealthy, go there. This place can fulfill all your desires, I suspect this is a place surpassing the Thirty-Three Heavens. This is a praise to Dorje Ling (རྡོ་རྗེ་གླིང་, Vajra Land), composed at the request of the treasurer So Gyamtso (བསོད་རྒྱམ་པ་). According to the teachings shown by the Guru, Practice is the best way to accumulate merit. Strive at all times, Don the armor of attaining Buddhahood in this lifetime. Rather than accumulating vast amounts of profound teachings, Focus on one that benefits your heart. Day and night, with tireless effort, Extract the essence of hearing, contemplating, and meditating. Rather than wandering aimlessly in all directions, Reside in one place without attachment. Know that this is the great way of practice, See if you can balance life and practice like Machig Labdrön (མ་གཅིག་ལབ་སྒྲོན). Rather than collecting various meditation objects, Focus single-pointedly without distraction. This is the most profound method of meditation, in all circumstances. Be vigilant at every moment. Rather than practicing the deity yoga, Recognize that the Guru is everything. Merely spending time in prayer, This is a shortcut to the path, O wise one! This is advice to the wise Chöpel Sangpo (ཆོས་འཕེལ་བཟང་པོ་) of Lhodrak Gyaltse Pang (ལྷོ་བྲག་རྒྱལ་རྩེ་སྤང་), at the place frequented by vultures.
