‘Certainty’ refers to the mixing of the grasper and the grasped. It also sometimes refers to the gathering of upper and lower energies into a mass, but these two ultimately converge on the same fundamental point. As it is said here: ‘The wind ignites the fire, the essence melts, and endless afflictions burn.’ This means that when the life-force and downward-clearing wind clash at the navel, the fire of Caṇḍālī (Tibetan: ཙཎྜཱ་ལི, Sanskrit Devanagari: चण्डाली, Sanskrit Romanization: caṇḍālī, Literal meaning: Fierce Woman) blazes, and ten states such as thought and desire arise. Even if one eats as much food as Mount Sumeru and drinks as much as the ocean, because the essence melts and permeates the entire body, it does not transform into urine and feces, but becomes what is called the ‘Illusory Vajra Great Belly.’ This is what is to be explained. And the way to use it as a path is: keep the body and eyes as they are, visualize oneself as the deity, in the center of the body is the green central channel (Uma), with the right and left channels on either side, keeping it straight. Below, the openings of the other two channels face the central channel; above, it inserts into the nostrils; at the navel is the nature of earth, in the center of the sixty-four yellow petals is the lunar mandala, in the center of the lunar mandala is the white Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Perfection) syllable, with nada. The seed syllable of the combined vase breath (kumbhaka) should be visualized as being one with the taste, without fabrication, and then slowly released. When it is stable, and it is certain that earth merges into water, in the heart is the nature of water, in the center of the eight petals is the solar mandala, on the solar mandala is the Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal meaning: Ah) syllable, with nada. In the throat is the fire chakra, on the thirty-two petals is the solar mandala, on the solar mandala is the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) syllable, with bindu and nada. In the crown chakra is the wind mandala, on the sixteen petals visualize Rāhu and the Hoḥ (Tibetan: ཧོཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: होः, Sanskrit Romanization: hoḥ, Literal meaning: Hoh) syllable. When the life-force and downward-clearing wind of the combined vase breath are obtained in the navel, the chakras such as the heart will also become vase breath. If the previous one is not stable, and one begins to combine the upper chakra, obstacles will occur. The ‘merging’ mentioned here refers to the ability to autonomously use the nature by becoming accustomed to wind and luminosity and the same taste, losing the ability to distinguish their respective positions. But this does not mean that after merging, the yogi will no longer have that flow. Third, the functions of these two: Regarding the functions of these two, what relies on Tummo is the yoga of bindu, what relies on bindu is the subtle yoga, what relies on functional connections is the immortal body, what is close to the oral instructions is the unchanging mind, and the yoga of the Ḍākinīs explaining the remaining meaning, there are five in total. The first is: the extent to which the life-force effort is accomplished is that all the life-force emanates from the crown. If it inclines upwards, the lifespan will be shortened. Therefore, when seeing signs such as headaches, one should do it again. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In order to eliminate obstacles and promote the combination with the clinging to the secret place, the essence of the body comes from: phlegm, bile, blood, and the essence of flesh, bones, and tendons. In their respective places, they generate diseases and bodily nourishment. Whatever food is eaten, it turns into seven times the essence, which nourishes the body. Due to the weakening of the heat of samsara, waste turns into feces and urine. Due to the disturbance of the elements, dirt also increases, thereby generating internally. Through the yoga of life force and clinging, phlegm and dirt are eliminated, thereby nourishing the body. The body's nourishment is transferred from the part of the moon, just like the cycle of the twelve limbs of life. The essence of the body's nourishment is like the moon, with sixteen parts of the white portion gradually increasing, entering from the black first, until the end of the sky, gradually depleting. Particles are like the sun, showing an increase in the six months of northern movement and a decrease in the six months of southern movement. From the beginning of obtaining clinging: Rahu completely devours, the flames burn fiercely and incinerate. Just like the nature of the sun and moon, the two bindus, the bindus of Rahu's nature, are the same taste in the center of the fire, so there is no increase or decrease, but they always remain full. Furthermore, the key posture of the body is the manner of the five meditations. The eyes are like coiled nectar. The wind is the vase-like of the three combinations. The aim is to inspire bodhicitta, through the power of clinging and one's own time, after visualizing the deity and consort, strive to make the tummo of the secret place burn even more like the power of lightning, and focus on the luminosity of the taker and the taken being of the same taste. There, the bindu located at the crown becomes the master, and the essence subsequently melts, entering from the crown to the throat is joy, between the heart chakras is supreme joy, between the navel chakras is special joy, and dripping at the tip of the jewel of the secret place is innate joy. Therefore, at the time of joy, experience the stability of the nature of luminosity and practice it. Second, the phlegm becomes thick, so there is no disease, and the essence increases in the body, so there is happiness and strength. The essence is completely combined in the dhuti, so the unchanging happiness is called subtle yoga. At the lotus of the consort, the bindu of bodhicitta falls like a mustard seed, and then through differences such as homogeneity, it moves upward from its own central channel position, the secret wheel is the immaculate bindu, the size of a chickpea, emitting rays of light. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
