Emptiness itself is the Dharmakāya (chos sku, Sanskrit: Dharmakāya, 法身). When Dharmakāya is realized, there is no fleeing from hatred, no need to abandon hatred, and no transformation of hatred. Hatred itself is naturally liberated. Because its essence is Dharmakāya, it is ultimate. The same applies to desire and ignorance, etc. Third, blending space (dbyings) and wisdom (rig): When emptiness arises, at the moment of arising, by focusing on emptiness, emptiness transforms into wisdom. By observing the essence of wisdom, wisdom is separated from the knower and the known, separated from all directions, and is called selflessness. This is the blending of space and wisdom, the union of experience and realization, and the inseparability of calm (zhi) and insight (lhag). Whatever path arises, there is no need for acceptance or rejection. Samsara and Nirvana become equally one taste. This is blended with the four conducts (spyod lam bzhi), thus manifesting as Mahāmudrā (phyag rgya chen po). Next, explaining the meaning of the Mahāmudrā to be meditated upon: Third, explaining the meaning of the Mahāmudrā to be meditated upon, including four aspects: 1. Recognizing the view of unfabricated wisdom (lta ba); 2. Resting the meditation in an unfabricated state (sgom pa); 3. Blending the previous and subsequent actions into non-duality (spyod pa); 4. The way the result manifests like the sky ('bras bu). First is: 'The ground (gzhi) is naturally unfabricated, spontaneously accomplished (lhun grub),' this is a brief instruction. 'The Mudrā (phyag) is seized by the essence of non-dual wisdom,' up to 'Dharmakāya,' this is a detailed explanation. So, what is the ground like? It is Mahāmudrā. It is only the wisdom of the Buddha, and there is nothing else besides it, so the ground and the result are inseparable. Therefore, whatever we grasp with our minds, we will fall into error, Like measuring the sky with a yardstick, ultimate truth (don dam) is not an object of the mind. Although it is said so, it is still measured with the mind. However, even so, if the ultimate truth and conventional truth (kun rdzob) are not distinguished and shown to others, others will not understand. If they cannot understand, they cannot realize. If they cannot realize, they cannot become Buddhas. Therefore, when establishing terms, it is said that this is the ground, path, and result. Among them, The ground Mahāmudrā is the reality of the nature of things, the intention of the Buddha, the nature of sentient beings' minds, which has no color or shape, no edge or center, no interruption or bias, has never existed, has never not existed, has never been confused, has never been liberated, is not born from cause, is not changed by conditions, Buddhas do not deliberately create it, sentient beings do not need to deliberately decorate it, it does not become better in the mind of discrimination, it does not become worse in the mind of confusion, it pervades everywhere, so it is called the ground. The path Mahāmudrā is: on the ground, the Dharma that should be accepted as the path, when resting, rest in a state of no object of focus (dmigs med), when maintaining, maintain in a state of non-distraction (yengs med), -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ཛིན་མེད་དུ་

Take it to non-mentation. When it arises, it arises as the nature of reality. When it is liberated, it goes to self-liberation, that is the one thing to practice. The result, Mahamudra, is being free from hoping and doubting for something to be liberated and something that liberates, mind exhausted, dharma exhausted. Without the adulteration of grasping, beyond mind and free from expression. Second, leaving it uncorrected in meditation, ultimately leaving it in the great self-state, from 'obtaining a body' to 'know'. The basis is, through knowing that the view is in accordance with the path, knowing that there is no engagement of effort, without mental activity, that is called 'knowing without doing'. Like that, through the action of great awareness grasping it, without being distracted, abiding in the state of being free from abider and abiding place, like space merging with space, thereby the Dharmakaya naturally arises without limitation and partiality, however it arises, from the time of arising experiencing uncontaminated bliss, like the bliss of a mute or a young maiden. No one can point out what this is, it does not have an inherent existence. Therefore, thinkers do not know and realize it, only self-awareness wisdom manifests it. Third, blending the former and latter conduct into non-duality, from 'however many phenomena appear as external objects' to 'self-purified'. Like that, arising from equanimity, the knowledge of subsequent awareness, whatever arises, whether happiness or unhappiness, good or bad, like going to the golden island where there are no stones. The mind itself has no basis and root, but unobstructed energy arises as anything, the arising itself goes to self-liberation. This is said to be the blending of clear light mother and child. The nature of mind, the essence of co-emergent wisdom, is not stained by the marks of conceptualization, therefore it has never been interrupted. That is called the nature of mind or clear light. When a person who has not gained stability arises from conceptualization, abiding on top of whatever arises, appearance is emptiness, or clarity is emptiness, or awareness emptiness is union, is the clear light child. Through eliminating the collection of appearances, dissolving into the clear light mother and abiding, that is called the blending of clear light mother and child. Fourth, the result, the arising order like the sky, from 'mind itself, unborn emptiness, Dharmakaya' to 'perfect enjoyment'. Essence is Dharmakaya, energy is Nirmanakaya, union is Sambhogakaya. Furthermore, the two obscurations are naturally purified, free from grasper and grasped, thoughts and mind, and the dharmas of samsara and nirvana are exhausted.' This means that, through eliminating the thoughts of clinging to characteristics and grasper and grasped, mind is exhausted and dharma is exhausted. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
