Whoever has faith in you, you cherish like a loving mother. Therefore, Machig (Tibetan: མ་གཅིག, literally: one mother), you are the lord of diseases, the supreme of medicine! Goddess, I constantly praise you! Please accomplish the entrusted tasks of the yogi! This is the Lion's Roar Praise by the Righteous One (Tibetan: དྲང་སྲོང་) Simha (Tibetan: སེངྒེ, Sanskrit: Siṃha, Romanized Sanskrit: Simha, literally: Lion), spoken from the Tantra of Arising Accomplishments. The right hand raises a chopping sword, symbolizing the severing of the life force of enemies who break vows. The lower hand holds a freshly severed skull filled with blood, symbolizing devouring the flesh and blood of the three realms.
