Becoming the supreme enjoyment of gods and humans, Beautiful and majestic, worthy of dedication. As many needs as there are dust particles, Are offered to the Lord of the Dakinis and his retinue. Rūpa. Those immeasurable beautiful sounds, Fill all the realms of the ten directions. These celestial and wonderful musical instruments, Are offered to the Lord of the Dakinis. Śabta. With the supreme and sacred fragrance of well-prepared incense, Pacifying all the sufferings of the world. Limitless fragrance rains down like rain, Is offered to the Lord of the Dakinis. Gandhe. Ri sa pa ri wā re bhyaḥ i daṃ ba liṃ gṛi gṛi sa ma ya hūṃ phaṭ. (Offering to the holy assembly, this food, Griri Griri, Samaya, Hum, Phat!) According to oral tradition, offer food to the holy assembly, reciting: 'Kha kha khā hi khā hi.' (Eat, eat, eat!) Heart Mantra: 'Oṃ hūṃ śrī ya de vī ka li ka li ma hā ka li hūṃ bhyo hūṃ.' (Om, Hum, Shri, Ya, Devi, Kali, Kali, Maha, Kali, Hum, Bhayo, Hum!) According to oral tradition, offer the offerings to the holy assembly in quantities of three, five, seven, or even twenty-one times each. Visualize Palden Lhamo (Glorious Goddess) and her retinue joyfully consuming the offerings, and request them to carry out activities. O Mistress of the Dakinis (Sky Dancers), along with your retinue of smoke and ashes, please accept this sacred Torma (sacrificial cake) offering, which is sacred in color, scent, taste, and touch. We beseech you to pacify and avert all kinds of illnesses afflicting us yogis, teachers, patrons, and our retinues, whether they arise from imbalances of wind, bile, phlegm, or a combination thereof. We beseech you to pacify and avert all kinds of demonic influences, such as those of gods, nagas, yakshas (harmful spirits), and the madness of kings. We beseech you to avert and pacify all unfavorable circumstances, such as bad dreams and inauspicious omens. Furthermore, please assist, support, and protect us yogis, teachers, patrons, and our retinues. Greet us from the front, support us from behind, fulfill our intentions, grant our wishes, and accomplish all the activities we desire! After making this request, visualize them promising, 'We shall do so!' After offering the offerings completely in this way, offer praise. As it is said in the tantra: 'The yogi who praises in this way erects the life-tree of Dharma, raises the victory banner of Dharma, blows the conch of Dharma, and lights the lamp of Dharma. With devotion and faith, he calls upon and praises the goddess.' Either at the six times of day, or every night, constantly praise with the sound of drums and music. By merely praising, the goddess will always protect. Pleased, she will follow the praiser like a shadow, and all his wishes will be completely fulfilled.' Therefore, one should praise with instruments such as drums and cymbals, and with beautiful melodies. First, praise from the aspects of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities: Bhyoḥ (Glorious)! Glorious Goddess, undefeated one, mistress of the three realms! Although inclined towards the three liberations for your own benefit, you follow after due to the power of compassion, benefiting beings with various wisdoms and methods.
