To the one who subdues the Lord of Death, Yama, among those who protect beings, you are the great hero. Seeing you, I generate admiration and invite you with a reverent heart. Although you have not moved from the Dharmakaya, you possess the power of unceasing compassion. In the mandala of Amitayus, Manifesting play, I request you to descend. Merge with the Samaya being, indivisibly. Again, from the light rays of the heart, invite the five Buddha families and their consorts, Engage in union. Bestow empowerment with Bodhicitta, and become the master of your respective families. Then comes the offering: Purify and increase the offering substances for empowerment with Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ,Devanagari: ओम् आः हुं,Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ āḥ hūṃ,Literal Chinese meaning: Body, Speech, Mind), and visualize them transforming into vast clouds of offerings that fulfill all desires. Recite: Hūṃ! Just as Samantabhadra offers to the Buddhas, the emanations of body, speech, and mind, and the clouds of fulfilling all desires that arise from the wisdom vajra secret, with these I offer to the Bhagavan and his retinue. Offering water, foot-washing water, flowers, incense, lamps, perfume, food, music, the five desirable qualities, and also the five ambrosias and five meats, I offer with all joy and all transformations. With beautiful faces, flowers, fragrant incense, with the clinging lamps, the warm sweat, with the honey of the mother's lips, the never-satisfied bliss, I offer with attachment to the essence of desire. For beings deluded by ignorance, stiffened in samsara, for beings intoxicated by sin, becoming fierce, with compassionate wrath, liberating in the Dharmadhatu with བཾ (Tibetan, Devanagari: वं, Romanized Sanskrit: vaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Seed syllable). I offer to the Bhagavan and his retinue. Thus offer. Then comes the praise: Hūṃ! Adorned with the ornaments of immortal sovereignty, filled with love for beings, possessing a form of great desire. Shining brightly like the rising sun, I prostrate to the protector Amitayus. Destroying the suffering of old age, sickness, and death, fulfilling the youthfulness desired in the heart. Holding a vase filled with the nectar of wisdom, abiding in equipoise, I prostrate to the protector Amitayus. Like the Naga king sleeping in the center of a lotus and sun, on the lap in vajra posture, there is the consort. Performing all offerings of bliss, I prostrate to the protector Amitayus. Intending to tame various kinds of beings to be tamed, showing different ways of taming, engaging in the playful dances of various families, displaying the inexhaustible appearances of wrathful and loving deities, I always prostrate to the mandala deities. The blessings of increasing life, merit, and wisdom, Entering my three doors of body, speech, and mind, accomplishing the body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas, the reality. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
