I take refuge in the three vehicles of the Śrāvakayāna, the Bodhisattvayāna, and the Mantrayāna. I will uphold the sacred Dharma. For the great family of action, I will fully maintain all vows, and I will make offerings to the best of my ability. I generate the unsurpassed Bodhicitta, and for the benefit of all sentient beings, I will uphold all vows. I will liberate those who are not liberated, save those who are not saved, infuse breath into those who are not breathing, and establish sentient beings in Nirvāṇa. Then, reciting 'Sarva Yoga Citta Utpādayāmi' (藏文：སརྦ་ཡོ་ག་ཙིཏྟ་ཨུཏྤཱ་ད་ཡཱ་མི།，梵文天城体：सर्व योग चित्त उत्पादयामि，梵文罗马拟音：sarva yoga citta utpādayāmi，汉语字面意思：Generating the mind of all yogas), with a garland of flowers, generate the mind in yoga. Place the Vajra at the heart. Recite 'Oṃ Surate Samaya Staṃ, Bodhicitta Vajra Yathā Sukhaṃ.' Then, reciting 'Āḥ Khaṃ Vīra Hūṃ' (藏文：ཨཱཿཁཾ་བཱི་ར་ཧཱུྃ་，梵文天城体：आः खं वीर हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：āḥ khaṃ vīra hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Ah, Space, Hero, Hum), cause it to enter. Now you have entered the lineage of Heruka and the Ḍākinīs. I shall generate for you the wisdom of glorious Mahāmāyā, by which wisdom you will attain the siddhi of all the Tathāgatas, glorious Heruka, and the Ḍākinīs, what need is there to mention other siddhis? You should not speak of this in front of someone who has not seen the maṇḍala, for the samaya will be broken. Place the Vajra on the crown of the head. To whomever, if you speak, your Vajra samaya will cause your head to split. Recite the essence of the five amṛtas. I am the glorious Heruka, you should heed my command. If you despise me, and die without abandoning discomfort, you will fall into hell. Then, the disciple says: 'May all the Tathāgatas bless me, and may Vajra wisdom descend.' The Guru enters the state, looks at the disciple with majesty, and fumigates with substances. Reciting 'Oṃ Vajra Āveśa' (藏文：ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཨཱ་བེ་ཤ་，梵文天城体：ओँ वज्र आ वेश，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ vajra ā veśa，汉语字面意思：Om, Vajra, Enter) one hundred and eight times, and playing music. Through the light of the heart, invoke all the Tathāgatas and cause them to abide in him. If they do not descend, visualize Heruka and the consort equally entering the moon in the disciple's heart, with red rays filling the entire body, and then recite the mantra. After descending, visualize the red 'A' on the tongue, and say: 'Speak, the great Dharma of desire, immeasurable great bliss.' Asking about good and non-good, after descending, show good and non-good. Then, stabilize it with the hundred-syllable mantra. Then: 'How is this merit, the deity here according to lineage, what siddhi does this person accomplish, what lineage does he become a vessel for, the merit here...' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'What is there?' 'May it also appear in this mandala.' The disciple discards (evil thoughts) with 'Pratitsa Vajra Ho' (藏文：པྲ་ཏཱིཙྪ་བཛྲ་ཧོཿ，梵文天城体：प्रतीच्छ वज्र होः，梵文罗马拟音：pratīccha vajra hoḥ，English literal meaning: Receive Vajra Ho). Then, holding the disciple's hand, say: 'Heruka's glory, now strive to open your eyes.' Once opened, you will see everything. The Vajra eye is supreme. 'Vajra eye, open, unveil!'
