The seventh case ending 'ལ་ (la)' is combined with 'body (ལུས་)'. Such a mind is also a mudra of inseparable bliss and emptiness, therefore it is wisdom. The greatness lies in the two: because it is a great practice. As it says in 'All Realizations are Truly Abandoned,' because it is a great concept, it pervades all things. Therefore, it is described as having three characteristics. Even if it resides in the body, when the body perishes, wisdom will not be lost, because it is not born from the effort of the body. For example, just as a bird flies away when a house collapses, when the body perishes, wisdom also transfers. Then, how is the union of bliss and emptiness immeasurable by the mind? Due to its power, it cannot be expressed in words, cannot be symbolized by examples, and cannot be determined by worldly meditation. However, if it is not shown through conventional expressions, then those to be tamed will never be able to understand. Therefore, the Buddhas are skilled in means, relying on conventional truth to lead beings towards ultimate truth. Regarding recognizing its essence through conventional expressions, Jo bo Nā ro pa said: 'The nature of mind is without characteristics, pure, luminous, and indivisible union.' The so-called 'without characteristics, pure' refers to the great wisdom in which all ignorance has been exhausted, the depth of which is enough to impoverish all Buddhas, it is the basis for supreme, unchanging bliss and objectless compassion. In some scriptures, it is also called Prajñāpāramitā, thus it is also called wisdom. The so-called 'luminous' means that because of its selflessness, it is able to manifest all forms, therefore it is luminous, it is the basis for emptiness that possesses all supreme aspects. In some scriptures, it is also called the pure illusory body and conventional truth, thus it is also regarded as a means. The so-called 'indivisible wisdom of union' means that even if the two are distinguished, it is never possible to separate them, it is the basis for sealing, embracing, entering into samadhi, and yoga. In some scriptures, it is also called 'neither male nor female.' Such a vajra of mind, because it is the complete Buddha, therefore the basis and result are inseparable. Because it is realized by each individual themselves, it is the path. This individual self-awareness is also not different from it, therefore the basis and path are inseparable. The path and result are also inseparable. As Pal Gyalwai Wangpo said: 'The nature of the basis and result is inseparable, it is the basis. If it is not realized in this way, the path of realization is the path. If realized, it becomes one, it is the nature of the fruit.'

'Nowhere else can a Buddha be found; the mind itself is the perfect Buddha; there is no other Buddha to point to.' Although a white conch shell does not change into another color, it appears yellow to someone whose eyes are afflicted with jaundice. Although the vajra nature of the mind does not change, to those who are defiled by habitual tendencies, it appears as an indestructible bindu. That indestructible bindu is considered the root in terms of being a basis; wind in terms of movement; bindu in terms of the quality of support; and the realm of consciousness in terms of apprehension. These are also the subtle body, speech, mind, and wisdom. From the transformation and development of these, the causes of the gross elements manifest as the three realms of existence, from which arise the eighty aspects of consciousness that subsequently experience, and from which the paths of karma are established, engaging in virtue and non-virtue, thereby acquiring habitual tendencies, which then influence the clear light of the basis of existence in the bardo, thus causing rebirth. Just as one might argue that even if a conch shell is said to be white, it still appears yellow until the illness is cured, similarly, those who only see the relative truth generate impure thoughts regarding the teachings that all phenomena are pure. Just as when a skilled doctor cures the illness, the conch shell is seen as white without needing to be pointed out by others, similarly, when the guru's instructions are cherished in the heart, the innate joy that is stable during the third initiation mainly manifests outwardly, 'The co-emergent, which cannot be expressed by others, cannot be found anywhere; it is known through reliance on the guru's skillful means and one's own merit.' Therefore, 'This itself is samsara; this itself is nirvana.' The basis is the vajra nature of the mind, which is established in both samsara and nirvana, and the reason for this establishment is: because of ignorance, it takes the form of samsara; because of the absence of ignorance, samsara is purified. This is due to the causes of ignorance and wisdom. Therefore, the Victorious One said, 'There is no confusion in the basis; confusion arises from the time of the basis.' The Victorious Yong Gonpa also said, 'The Great Seal of Reality and the Great Seal of Confusion,' which also means this. In short, the vajra nature of the mind itself is the self-existing Buddha; being obscured by adventitious stains is samsara; and by purifying these stains, one attains the state of non-abiding nirvana. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
