To partake of food and drink without bias is the feast of heroes. A male designated as the mudrā of the chief consort. Furthermore, only women gather together, and to partake of food and drink without bias is the feast of heroines. For renunciants, the latter two are understood through the distinction of parents. Regarding this, in the Vajrācāryakriyā-samuccaya composed by Ācārya Gati-darśa, it is said that there are six: the feast and the great feast, the gaṇacakra, the great gaṇacakra, the wheel of night, and the following wheel. The temporary need is to pacify obstacles and illnesses, to restore vows, and to increase the accumulation of merit. The place is charnel grounds, etc. Those who gather are monks, novices, and laypeople who have received the vajra initiation that pleases their parents. Among these, the one who was previously a monk and later became a vajra holder is the best lord of the gaṇacakra. If not, then a novice like him is middling. If not, then a householder like him is the worst. As it is said in the Dampa parama: 'Householders, novices, and monks are inferior, middling, and superior, respectively.' If there is no monk like him, etc., then the one who received the initiation earliest should become the vajra ācārya. If even though he is old, he is ignorant, then they should be offered elsewhere, and a young person or one who wears white clothes and is learned should become the lord of the gaṇacakra. If among these three (householder, etc.) there is someone who has obtained the power of clairvoyance, etc., even if he is a householder, he should be made the lord. The time is the auspicious day when the yoginīs gather well, such as 'the fourteenth of the half-month of the Iṣṭadevatā,' etc. The duration is according to need, such as a year, etc. The conduct is: 'In secluded houses and secret places, messengers of all castes, women without clothes, and practitioners are also adorned with the five seals. The yoginīs loosen their hair, and the practitioners also tie up their hair. After the seats have been arranged, each sits in their own place.' This is (the rule). Regarding the method of performing the gaṇacakra, there are two: external and internal. First, after bathing outside the maṇḍala house, the door is closed with a blue stick. Then ashes are sprinkled on it. Through it, a signal is asked. Those who answer the signal are allowed to enter. The ācārya sits facing east in the center of the row, on a cushion of cow and tiger skin. The other yoginīs sit on human skin in their respective places. First is the wheel of the internal self-generated maṇḍala. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then, transform food, drinks, and so on into nectar through purification, cognition, and combustion. Arrange the Torma (offering), bless the Rilbu (pills) with mantras, and then cover it with the left hand, purifying with the syllable Om (Om, seed syllable, body, complete possession), cognizing with the syllable Ah (Ah, seed syllable, speech, originally pure) of the right hand, burning intensely with the syllable Hum (Hum, seed syllable, mind, selflessness emptiness) of the palms joined together, and transforming it into nectar with the sky-flying mudra and the syllable Hoh (Hoh, seed syllable, wisdom). Then, with the tip of the left ring finger, dip a drop of alcohol and draw a triangular Dharma origin (Chos-byung) on the ground, and draw a small circular dot in the center. Visualize the deities who are the nature of the wheel of wisdom dissolving into that immaculate lotus seat (Pra-phabs). In the rituals to be explained below, when offering to the field deities and so on, add the name after the syllable Om (Om, seed syllable, body, complete possession), and finally add the syllables Ah (Ah, seed syllable, speech, originally pure) Hum (Hum, seed syllable, mind, selflessness emptiness), thereby offering the Torma and offering the essence of all food and drinks. Then, place the food on a human skin about one cubit in size, and offer it to the main deity of the assembly in a counterclockwise direction. Similarly, place all the food in containers made of the skins of horses, dogs, humans, and elephants, and offer it to the yoginis of the east, south, west, and north. Place the food in containers made of the skins of cows, donkeys, jackals, and mules, and offer it to the yoginis of the Empowered Mother (Wang-lden), Wind Mother (Rlung), Truthless Mother (Den-bral), and Fire Boundary (Mei-mtshams). Also offer the flesh of their respective lineages. Offer the drinks in lotus vessels, and then rotate the Karma Vajra clockwise three times, and make offerings with incense, flowers, and so on. Then, the master and the assembly of yoginis will burn all the food and drinks like nectar in the Samaya fire pit, satisfying them. Then, by equally entering into skillful means and wisdom, experience Bodhicitta, thereby offering to the inner Dakinis, and offering the remaining offerings to the outer Dakinis. If someone argues there, expel them, and if they admit their mistake and request, give them punishment and then allow them to return. Then, in order to view the nature of the Lord of Great Bliss, frolicking on the great Dharma origin (Chos-byung) lotus seat (A-ra-li), Perform the dance of the Buddhas with mutual agreement and great joy, performing the mudras and the responses of the mudras, the responses of the offerings, the dances and the responses of the dances, the songs and the responses of the songs, the bodily gestures and the verbal expressions of the gestures in this order. Like this, abandon worldly meditation, eliminate the desires of the mind, and always be joyful with the yoginis with great joy, like a king. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
