Offerings are made with the eight offering mantras as before. By praying with 'Oṃ Abhiṣiñcatu māṃ sarva tathāgata (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཨ་བྷིཥིཉྩ་ཏུ་མཱཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ།,梵文天城体:ओम् अभिषिञ्चतु मां सर्व तथागत,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ abhiṣiñcatu māṃ sarva tathāgata,Literal meaning: Om, please all tathagatas, grant me the abhiseka)', those Buddhas manifest in the form of Heruka, and empower with vases filled with the five nectars that are the essence of the five tathagatas. At the time of empowerment, a rain of flowers will fall, and the sound of drums will arise. Offerings are made by Rūpa-vajrī and others. Vajra songs are sung by Cakṣur-vajrī and others. After the empowerment, from the slightly upturned water, the main deities, father and mother, Pukkasī and Gaurīmālā are Akṣobhya, Śavarī and Caurīmālā are Vairocana, Caṇḍālī and Vetālī are Ratnasambhava, Ḍombinī and Ghasmarī are adorned with Amitābha. Oṃ Sarva tathāgata abhiṣeka ta vajra svabhāva ātmako'haṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥེ་ཀ་ཏ་བཛྲ་སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་ཨཱཏྨ་ཀོ྅ཧཾ།,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ sarva tathāgata abhiṣeka ta vajra svabhāva ātmako'haṃ,Literal meaning: Om, all tathagatas, empowerment, vajra nature, I myself). It is a limb of Akṣobhya. Seventh, Tasting the Nectar: Then, below, from Yaṃ (藏文:ཡཾ,梵文天城体:य,梵文罗马拟音:yaṃ,Literal meaning: wind) arises a wind mandala, smoky in color, shaped like a bow, marked at both ends by banners. Above that, from Raṃ (藏文:རྃ,梵文天城体:र,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,Literal meaning: fire) arises a fire mandala, red and triangular. Above that, from A (藏文:ཨ་,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,Literal meaning: none) arises a skullcup, white on the outside and red on the inside, with human flesh and bodhicitta as its essence in the center. To the east is elephant meat and feces, to the south is horse meat and urine, to the west is beef and blood, and to the north is dog meat and marrow. The external form of these is Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,Literal meaning: Om), the life is Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,Literal meaning: Ah), and above that is a crescent moon and vajra tip, marked with Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,Literal meaning: Hum), head facing down. The wind ignites the fire, the skullcup is heated, and the five meats and five nectars boil. From Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,Literal meaning: Om) and Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,Literal meaning: Ah) emanate rays of light, and from the crescent moon vajra Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,Literal meaning: Hum) descends the nectar of wisdom, which mixes inseparably with the nectar of samaya. Recite Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:ओम् आः हुं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ āḥ hūṃ,Literal meaning: Om Ah Hum) three times. Finally, the crescent moon vajra also falls into the skullcup and melts, becoming the nature of nectar. All the main deities and retinue draw the nectar from the tips of their tongues through a tube of light from a vajra the size of a barley grain, and are greatly pleased. Oṃ Sarva tathāgata amṛtā svada vajra svabhāva ātmako'haṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏཱ་སྭ་ད་བཛྲ་སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་ཨཱཏྨ་ཀོཉཧཾ།,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ sarva tathāgata amṛtā svada vajra svabhāva ātmako'haṃ,Literal meaning: Om, all tathagatas, nectar, taste, vajra nature, I myself). It is a limb of Amitābha. Eighth, Offering: Then, from the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,Literal meaning: Hum) at the heart of the nine deities, rays of light emanate, collecting beautiful forms, pleasant sounds, fragrant smells, sweet tastes, and soft touches from the realms of the world, gathering them on the celestial cloth, and manifesting countless offering goddesses, who make offerings to the mandala of the nine deities. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15-460
