Vajradhara said: The means of Prajnaparamita. This is said to be a Yogini, perfectly combined with Mahamudra, therefore entering into that state. The Tantra of Yogini is considered the Vajra tent of Dakini, the means of all Prajnaparamitas. It will be accomplished by mere meditation. As said in 'Ocean of Dakinis': For the Yogis, the Tantra is supreme. Distinguishing the rites of this and that, I, the Luminous Illusionist, explain in the illusory world. As said in 'Torchlight': Except for my great blessing, no other world exists here. Like a gem purified by fire, the self-nature is luminous and completely pure. The glorious assembly is fully manifest, the words and meanings of abiding are here. Furthermore, what mainly shows the nature of the channels and winds is the Father Tantra and Mother Tantra. As Naropa said: The king of means is the Father Tantra, the king of wisdom is the Mother Tantra, the king of instructions shows the channels and winds. The commentary on 'Oral Instructions' says: The oral instructions of the Anuttarayoga Tantras, the Tantra of Dakinis mainly focuses on the channels, through which realization is achieved. The Tantra that mainly focuses on means, the Yoga, mainly realizes through the nature of the winds. The distinction of purity is that when entering the meaning of the Anuttarayoga Tantra, whatever shows the pure deities of the inner and outer aggregates, elements, and sources is the Means Tantra, and whatever shows the pure deities of the inner and outer channels and Bodhicitta is the Wisdom Tantra. 'Stainless Light' says: In the conventional truth of the world, distinguishing by means of mirror-like wisdom and so on, from the perspective of the purity of aggregates and elements, the Tathagata spoke of means and wisdom according to the minds of beings with dull faculties. {Third, the distinction of the individuals to be tamed:} The Father Tantra is taught to tame males, and the Mother Tantra is taught for the purpose of taming females. As the 'Tent Tantra' says: For the purpose of taming males, the Yoga Tantras are extensively taught. For the purpose of gathering females, the Yogini Tantras are extensively taught. Furthermore, the distinction between one's own school and other schools is also made by the proportion of male and female deities. 'Entering the Meaning of the Anuttarayoga Tantra' says: Whatever shows more male deity forms for the purpose of taming males and one's own school is the Means Tantra. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Therefore, to subdue women and non-Buddhist heretics, the tantra that reveals mandalas with many forms of goddesses in accordance with them is the Wisdom Tantra. The Lord of Conquerors (referring to the Buddha) said that the differences between body and mind can be distinguished, but in reality, it merely symbolically shows those aspects that are more distinct. As for distinguishing the differences between the speaker, the requester, and the compiler, since they are not explicitly mentioned in the scriptures, they are not discussed here. Third, in the definitive sense, everything is revealed as a non-dual tantra. Therefore, in order to guide those who are inclined to inferior views, the tantras of skillful means and wisdom are separately taught externally. But in the definitive sense, everything is a tantra that is non-dual in skillful means and wisdom. The meaning of yoga is to combine skillful means and wisdom, which is the subject of both the Father Tantra and the Mother Tantra. As stated in the *Later Compendium*: 'The integration of skillful means and wisdom is called yoga. Non-existence is wisdom, and skillful means is the characteristic of things.' In the *Hevajra Tantra*, it says: 'Hey! Great compassion, vajra is also said to be wisdom. The nature of skillful means and wisdom is the tantra, I will tell, listen carefully.' The *Lesser Blissful Tantra* also says: 'Like the combination of wisdom and skillful means, possessing mantra recitation and meditation, etc. The combination itself is the wisdom of the ritual, please listen to what is said in the tantra.' The *Root Tantra of the Kalachakra* also says: 'Yoga is not the body of skillful means, nor can it be transformed by wisdom alone. The integration of skillful means and wisdom, the Tathagata calls it yoga.' The *Vajra Heart Commentary* says: 'The nature of wisdom and skillful means is the tantra, called the Yoga Tantra. Yoga is not the sound of skillful means, nor can it be transformed by the sound of wisdom. This is called the Yoga Tantra, Hevajra is non-dual, the Compendium and all others, the nature of wisdom and skillful means, everything is the Yoga Tantra, by the names of wisdom and skillful means.' The *Stainless Light* also says: 'By nature, everything is the nature of wisdom and skillful means, it is the Yoga Tantra itself.' Therefore, in any tantra, wherever there is skillful means and wisdom as the subject, that tantra in the definitive sense is neither the Wisdom Tantra nor the Skillful Means Tantra. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
