ཤེས་པར་བྱ། །ཞེས་རྗོད་བྱེད་ཚིག་གི་རྒྱུད། བརྗོད་བྱ་དོན་གྱི་རྒྱུད་གཉིས་སུ་ཕྱེ་ནས་ཕྱི་མ་དེ་གཏན་ལ་འབེབས་པའི་ཕྱིར། དབང་རྣོན་ དོན་གྱི་ཡེ་ཤེས་སུ་གོ་ནུས་པ་ལ་མཚན་དོན་དུ་བཤད་པ། དབང་འབྲིང་ཐོད་རྒལ་བ་དཔེའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་སུ་གོ་ནས་ངེས་དོན་མཚོན་ནུས་པ་ལ་གླེང་གཞི་བཞུགས་ཚུལ་དུ་བཤད་པ། དབང་པོ་ ཐ་མ་རིམ་གྱིས་པ་ཚིག་གི་སྤྲོས་པ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་རིམ་གྱིས་དོན་གོ་བར་ནུས་པ་ལ་མདོར་བསྟན་རྒྱས་བཤད། །རྒྱས་བཤད་ཆེན་པོས་མ་རྒྱུད་གཙོ་ཆེར་འཆད་པར་གསུངས་སོ། །དེ་ལྟར་རྒྱུད་སྡེ་ སྤྱིའི་རྣམ་གཞག་མཁས་པའི་ཡིད་འཕྲོག་ཅེས་བྱ་བ་འདི་ནི་དཔལ་འབྲུག་པ་ཞེས་ས་གསུམ་ན་གྲགས་པའི་པཎྜི་ཏ་པདྨ་དཀར་པོས་གཡས་རུ་གཙང་གི་མཐིལ་པ་སྣམ་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་རྩེར་གཞན་ལ་སྦྱིན་པར་ བྱ་བའི་ཆོས་སུ་བྱས་པའོ།། །།མངྒ་ལཾ།།

应知如是。分为能诠之语续与所诠之义续二者，为确立后者。 对于利根者，将之阐释为能领悟意义之智慧的名相意义；对于中根者，将妥噶（Thod rgal）阐释为能领悟譬喻之智慧，并以安住于论题的方式，阐释其能象征究竟意义；对于钝根者，则依赖词句的次第开展，从而能次第领悟意义，此为总说、广说。经中说，以广说为主来阐释母续。 如是，此名为‘智者悦意之续部总纲’，乃由吉祥竹巴（Dpal 'brug pa），即于三界闻名之班智达白莲花（Padma dkar po），于卫藏之中心，桑南伦珠孜（Snam lhun grub rtser），作为可施予他人的法所造。

It should be known thus. Dividing into two: the continuum of words that express, and the continuum of meanings that are expressed, in order to establish the latter. For those of sharp faculties, it is explained as the nominal meaning that understands the wisdom of meaning; for those of middling faculties, Thod rgal is explained as the wisdom of example that can understand, and it is explained as the way of residing in the topic, which can symbolize the definitive meaning; for those of dull faculties, it is through reliance on the gradual unfolding of words that they are able to gradually understand the meaning, this is the summary and the detailed explanation. It is said in the scriptures that the mother tantra is mainly explained by the great detailed explanation. Thus, this 'General System of Tantras, Delighting the Wise' was made by the glorious Drukpa (Dpal 'brug pa), the pandita Padma Karpo, famous in the three realms, at Snam Lhun Drub Rtser in the center of U-Tsang, as a Dharma to be given to others. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
