May he become proficient in the six objects of action, and at the time of death, may he be born in an empty land without Buddhas and Shravakas! May he also walk the path with the wisdom he has obtained himself, without relying on others! When enlightenment is attained, may he not show affection to sentient beings with his body and speech! This is a prayer. Accumulating merit, accumulating merit for about two-thirds of a hundred kalpas, thereby generating patience lesser than the middle, and becoming wise, while making aspirations. Accumulating merit for about one-third of a hundred kalpas, thereby attaining great patience, and becoming wise, while practicing aspirations, thereby not needing to walk the remaining path. The distinction of walking the path is that from then on, dying and being born in an empty land, as a man who is not a commoner in Jambudvipa, and naturally ordaining and taking full ordination. Through contemplation on impure things, from ignorance to old age and death, in the manner of arising and ceasing, relying on the actual basis of the fourth dhyana, meditating, thereby realizing the remaining path of joining, the path of seeing, the path of meditation, and the path of no more learning in one seat. Abandoning the obscurations of seeing and the grasping thoughts of the obscurations of knowledge, and abandoning the grasping thoughts of the obscurations of knowledge of the three realms that are abandoned by meditation, and summarizing the afflictive obscurations of the higher realms into nine categories and abandoning them. The afflictions of the desire realm are abandoned by the worldly path, because the fourth dhyana has been attained and not lost. Here, the 'hundred kalpas' that are mentioned, the teachers explain that this refers to one immeasurable great kalpa. Fourth, regarding the path of seeing of a Bodhisattva, the difference between the essence and the qualities, first is the teaching of 'patience and patience' etc. After the peak of the Dharma of joining the path, together with the truth of suffering, each personally experiencing the suffering of the truth of suffering, the uncontaminated wisdom, thereby abandoning the afflictions that should be abandoned by seeing the suffering, this is called the patience of knowing the Dharma of suffering. And, the wisdom after the patience that is able to manifest liberation is the knowledge of the Dharma of suffering. After that is the patience of knowing the Dharma of suffering, and the knowledge of the Dharma of suffering, these are following the holy Dharma. Therefore, the uncontaminated wisdom that each personally experiences has four moments. The Dharma patience of the origin of suffering, the subsequent knowledge patience, the subsequent... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Four subsequent knowledges: When cessation occurs, there is forbearance of knowledge of Dharma, knowledge of Dharma, forbearance of subsequent knowledge, and knowledge of subsequent knowledge. When the path occurs, there is forbearance of knowledge of Dharma, knowledge of Dharma, forbearance of subsequent knowledge, and knowledge of subsequent knowledge. The path of seeing is attained with sixteen moments of mind. Here, the 'moment' is also as stated in the Great Commentary: 'A moment of mind is also the complete arising of knowledge towards the knowable.' Therefore, 'moment' is established as 'complete'. Second, the qualities are shown by the Thusness and the Buddhas, etc. Fifth, the activity of the path of meditation: The path of meditation is to familiarize oneself with the attainment of the path of seeing. It is also called manifest realization because there is increase in realization. Its activities are six: the activity of peace, the activity of taming, the activity of overcoming afflictions, the activity of not being overwhelmed by harm, and the activity of making it a field of offering for enlightenment. Among these, the first is the activity with outflows, because the cause of manifestation is near at hand. The second is the activity of accomplishment, because it is the benefit of not having manifest fabrication. The third is the activity of being extremely pure, because it is the very abandonment of conceptualization. The remaining three are regarded as the common benefits of the first three. Sixth, the aspiration mind of the path of meditation: It is the approximation of the path of meditation without outflows. When those without outflows enter the path of meditation, they definitely hold onto the qualities of those with the power of valid cognition, which is accompanied by corresponding mental factors. Therefore, its characteristic is the approximation of the path of meditation without outflows. Therefore, this does not directly produce the fruit of the outflow, but because aspiration enters into the outflow, it definitely holds the ability to produce the fruit, so it is its basis. In terms of distinctions, Lo Chen (translator's name) said: 'Having faith in one's own nature, such as not being at ease with the perfection of knowledge, having faith in the qualities that depend on it, and determining that one who possesses such qualities is capable of being attained.' That is, the first is self-benefit in the state of not having attained transcendental wisdom, because one holds onto one's own benefit most strongly. In the seven impure grounds, it is the benefit of both self and others, because one realizes self and others equally and does not prioritize oneself. In the three pure grounds, because the clinging to self is pacified, there is only the benefit of others, and there is no separate benefit for oneself.' Therefore, there is self-benefit, the benefit of both, and only the benefit of others without interruption. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
