Ugedeze (the questioner) asked Gedun (the Sangha): 'If, after being informed, everyone gathers and harmonizes, then through a capable person, clearly announce the established rules, and when cutting off major boundaries, grant permission for the robes to be inseparable. If not needed, then lift the major boundaries and delineate minor boundaries. If needed, also grant permission for the robes to be inseparable.' 'In places where minor boundaries are delineated, major boundaries can be re-delineated.' In both cases, the Sangha can be arranged to carry out affairs, and through words, both boundaries can be lifted simultaneously, or after delineating the boundaries, four permissions can be granted, or no offerings are made, or they are destroyed due to breaking the precepts. Affairs that have not been delineated are built upon the boundaries; places that have not been surrounded, from Waka (place name) to where the water drips, to the vicinity of the village, to the distance of the monastery. All Sangha members belonging to that boundary should participate in the affairs and should not have discord or violations.' 'Within this range, even without robes, one should not regret it.' For those who cannot participate in the assembly, a completely pure intention should be given. One can accept the arrest of the king sequentially or simultaneously. If living within the boundary, the messenger is different from others. After starting, agreement is reached through mutual giving. For those who arrive suddenly, are summoned, or are drunk, permission can be granted.' 'For those who have broken precepts, before participating in affairs, they should perform repentance, restraint, and blessings, and the Sangha should be in accordance with the precepts broken.' If there are doubts or disputes, or if it is not for these reasons, if agreement can be reached, otherwise, only through prayer, participating in affairs after blessings will be disturbed by doubts and hesitation. 'In front of others, women and those who carry out affairs should have peaceful minds, conduct Posadha together, and perform five things afterward.' The smallest fence, the medium fence, and two open places, because they cannot stay overnight, are the fourteen-day Posadha. The remainder is the fifteen-day Posadha, which is the compensation for the end of the month. After the king, the astrologer, and the Khenpo (abbot) is the date, which is calculated by moving, and if there is disagreement, the majority prevails. At all auspicious moments, there is a third person in the lineage, and in the half-month, on the throne of Leo, the Sthavira (elder) first proclaims the teachings of the Pratimoksha Sutra. From the five of requesting, accepting, entering, and reciting, whichever begins, it should be recited completely and without error. One cannot stay on dangerous roads and should recite while walking. Incomplete Posadha is considered to need blessings.' 'In the half-month, there should be a patron, entrustment, practice place, village, alms, patient care, and the monastery's guru.' There are no disputants, and there are no non-occurrences, and there is the residence. The residence, bedding, cushions, and copperware should be cleaned. One or more capable people can be appointed to spend the rainy season. The middle fish day (referring to a specific day in the rainy season) is considered a precept that needs to be observed. The person carrying out the affairs should make the requester understand. The residence should be arranged in order, and notification should be given. 'After finishing speaking, return to one's residence on that day.' Vowing to take care of the Bhikkhuni living in front, in order to distinguish the later mantras, permission for seven days or forty days can be granted. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
