Like a place where all gather, it is the support of the Samaya Ḍākinīs (vows of the dakinis). To the south of that great Stupa (reliquary mound), there is a great palace called Yuhai (Jade Sea). In the light of the sun, it is as if the blue sky is melting, or like a polished beryl mirror, it is the mandala of Śrīcakrasaṃvara (the Wheel-Binding Supreme Bliss). In addition, there is the Flaming Lake, the upper part is Vajrabhairava (the Terrifier Vajra), and the lower part is Hevajra (the Joyful Vajra); and the red Cinnabar Sea, the upper part is Amitāyus (Infinite Life), and the lower part is Guhyasamāja (Secret Assembly); and the Bliss-Emptiness Lake, the upper part is Śrīcakrasaṃvara-cakra (the Wheel of Supreme Bliss), and the lower part is all Buddhas equally united. These are the lakes that grant Siddhi (accomplishment). The Tara Lake is the Bhagavan Mother Green Tara (Tārā) and the assembly of deities of activity; the Dharma-Arising Copper-Colored Lake is Kurukulle (Kurukulle) and the assembly of red deities of power; the Co-emergent Golden Lake is Vasudhārā (Vasudhārā) and the assembly of yellow deities of increase; the Auspicious Conch Lake is Vijayā (Vijayā) and the assembly of white deities of pacification. These four lakes are the places for accomplishing activities. The blue Turquoise Lake is the Mother of Tara's Heart Mantra, the Sovereign Mother of the Desire Realm; the red and black Blood Lake is the Dharma Realm Mother Ekajaṭī (Ekajaṭī), the Flaming Lake is the Mother of Speech Union Caṇḍīka (Caṇḍīka). The Protector Lake is the abode of the Glorious Black-Cloaked Mahākāla (Mahākāla) and the assembly of deities, it is the lake for subduing hostile obstacles. These lakes, the superior ones do not see the appearance of the lake, but the mandala; the intermediate ones have lotus stems growing from the center of the lake, and the deities reside on them, appearing in the lake like reflections in a mirror; the inferior ones show light, Dharma instruments, letters, or rainbow light, etc., each according to their own karma, granting the eight great Siddhis (accomplishments), the four activities, etc. It is as if the sons of the gods stretch out their arms, and all that is needed emerges from the wish-fulfilling tree or the earth. Therefore, those with lineage are Vajravārāhī (Vajravārāhī), Nairātmyā (Selfless Mother), Sparśavajrī (Touch Vajra Mother), etc.; the messengers are Vajraḍākinī (Vajraḍākinī), etc., and the Bhagavan Bodhisattvas, the Wrathful Ones enjoy together, forming twelve palaces according to the division of the time of day. Various landscapes, mountains, lakes, rivers, trees, are the places where the Karma Ḍākinīs seek warmth, and the mirror for measuring good and bad karma. This is the holy place of the Nirmanakaya (emanation body), and those without fortune will lose their lives if they touch it. Vimalamitra (Vimalamitra) said: 'To the northwest of the naturally arising place of blessing, there are one hundred and eight lakes where the Karma Ḍākinīs bathe, and each lake is a holy place for obtaining Siddhi (accomplishment). Crossing a great river to the east of it is the secret place of the Ḍākinīs.' On that cliff... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

‘The place that has marks similar to Dakinis is the place to attain the siddhi of wind and mind.’ As said in Vajra Enclosure, it is a place called ‘Tibetan Stone’. La-wa-pa said: ‘At the junction of the three white stone slabs, there is a village of Dakinis.’ Because the appearance is pure, one can see a large city with four hundred streets; a medium practitioner can see the house of Lame; the worst can only see stones and gravel.’ The ‘stone mark’ he mentioned refers to this place. This is a large area. To the north, there is a place called ‘Yama's Hall’, which is the abode of Wrathful Vajrabhairava. This refers to a place called ‘Jigje’. In the King's Chronicle, it is mentioned: ‘Tsari small valley, the mouth of the valley faces south, the ridge faces north, the canyon is narrow, the water flows turbulently, the clouds and mist are thick, the west is burning with flames, the trees are lush, the poisonous trees form a forest, and various beasts inhabit it. Be careful of that valley!’ When that black valley disappears, the white rocks of Chongzhi are as bright as the rising sun and moon, which is pleasant and refreshing. Dakinis, called ‘Sun Eye’ and ‘Moon Eye’, reside there. The water of Chongzhi flows like milk, bathe there and obtain siddhi.’ La-wa-pa and Jowo Atisha said: ‘The essence of the valley is the three rocks, and from there downwards,’ ‘When the meadows and open spaces disappear, you will see a black rock. To the right of the rock's flowing water, there is a square gold lake, which is a poisonous lake inhabited by evil nagas. Do not dump dirt there, nor drink the water there. The edge of the lake is crescent-shaped. To the left, there is a triangular red poisonous lake, seeing it will make people unhappy. Do not dump dirt there either, nor drink the water there. The shape of the edge is round. Go around it. Then there is Tsari Tsagong, and at the end there is a round turquoise lake, with gold and turquoise in the sand. That is the outer slope, and then the crystal mountain.’ From this description, Jigje is called ‘Root Gong’ or ‘Supreme Root’. Mitra's Chronicle says: ‘The special place is Tsari small valley, located between Kala Dungtso and Yutso Kyogmo, opening to the northeast, ridge to the southwest, the canyon is narrow, the rocks of Chongzhi are like Rakshasas standing.’ Covered by the forest of Dragon Gu trees, the mouth of the valley is wide like a basin, and the center is like a navel. It is full of all the flowers that Jambudvipa can grow, and the flowers bloom for three months in summer, on the tenth day of the waxing moon, the moon rises, the valley is bright with light, and when you arrive there, the senses are clear, wisdom manifests, and it is very pleasant. That mountain...’ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
