Someone requested me to speak. As 'འཕྱོང་རྒྱས་' (a place name), I have come twelve times so far. 'ཨ་མ་དྲུང་པ' (a person's name) said that it is a national tradition for high officials to go to the countryside for inspection. I had never been to 'ཞོལ་ཁྲོད་' (a place name) before, but this time it's not just a visit, but also to establish connections with everyone, so I should go wherever I'm invited. By the way, I also went to 'ཞོལ་གོང་' (a place name). While staying in 'རྩེ་' (a place name), I met people from morning till night, giving everyone physical and verbal care. At that time, he said that our lineage of 'འཕྱོང་རྒྱས་' (a place name) is the lineage of Khenpo 'ཞི་བ་འཚོ་' (Śāntarakṣita) and 'ཇོ་བོ་རྗེ' (Atiśa), which has not declined, and naturally praised his family. For the teachers and disciples of 'དཔལ་རི་སྒྲུབ་སྡེ་པ་' (a place name), he gave the initiation of 'བླ་མ་དྲག་པོ་ཀཱི་ལ་ཡ་' (Vajrakīla) and the Bodhicitta of the Madhyamaka school. He received generous offerings both publicly and privately. After that, he was invited to the private manor 'ཐོབ་རྒྱལ་ལྷ་རྩེ་' (a place name) of the ruler 'ས་སྐྱོང་བའི་དབང་པོ་ཚེ་དབང་བསྟན་འཛིན་རྡོ་རྗེ' (Sakya ruler Tshewang Tenzin Dorje). He was warmly welcomed and stayed for a few days. In the corridor of 'ཐང་པོ་ཆེ་' (a place name), he paid homage to the stupa of 'ཇོ་བོ་' (Jowo, referring to Atiśa), and also went to the upper part of the corridor. On the throne of 'ཇོ་བོ་' (Jowo, referring to Atiśa), he taught the Dharma to the public, combining the 'སྐྱེས་བུ་གསུམ་གྱི་ལམ་རིམ་' (Three Levels of Spiritual Capacity) into one. He accepted the generous offerings of 'ཐོབ་རྒྱལ་' (a place name), as well as the offerings of the monks and monastery of 'ཐང་པོ་ཆེ་པ་' (a place name). He gave the ruler himself the profound 'ཚེ་སྒྲུབ་རྒྱུན་ཁྱེར་' (long life practice). He received an invitation from 'བཀྲ་ཤིས་རྩེ་' (a place name). He stayed there for nearly two months. He taught the Mahāmudrā, the Six Dharmas of Naropa, dependent origination, equality of life and death, the seven-branch practice, the six-branch yoga, etc., to the Sangha, and gave twenty-two subsequent permissions to the Sangha and officials. At that time, he said: 'In this land of Tibet, no one has ever given more teachings than me through sutras and commentaries, and probably no one will now.' He had the idea of going to 'ཁྲ་འབྲུག་' (Changzhug Monastery) for pilgrimage. The Dharma protector said: 'In order to see the face of 'དཔལ་ནཱ་རོ་པ་' (Naropa) and listen to his teachings, let all the gods, demons, and humans gather!' So, many people gathered from all directions. A grand 'དབང་མོ་ཆེ་' (initiation) was held in 'ཁྲ་འབྲུག་' (Changzhug Monastery). It is said that the crowd watching from one throne was very large. With umbrellas held up, the Dharma protector personally maintained order, so it was very quiet. Later, when going to the 'ལྷ་ཁང་' (Lhakhang, temple), the Dharma protector himself shed tears. When asked why, he said: 'Many warriors and dakinis, led by the lion-faced dakini 'སེང་གེའི་གདོང་ཅན་' (Siṃhamukhā), are inviting 'དཔལ་ནཱ་རོ་པ་' (Naropa)!' The main offering of the longevity ritual was made by 'བྱ་པ་ནང་སོས་' (a person's name). 'ཐུགས་རྗེ་གླིང་པ་' (a person's name), who was close to him, also offered the longevity ritual. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sungba Tashi Tse took care of the affairs. The Nyingma (ancient) master Menlungpa Ponlob established the Dakini Repelling Ritual. On the morning of the first day of the fifth Hor month, the heads of the monastic community, together with the patrons, prayed that he would not pass away into sorrow. Then it was said: 'The Three Jewels are the true essence, the Lord of Dharma is the Lama, the great pillar of the unbiased doctrine. Even if one searches with a thousand lamps, it is difficult to find.' It means that a virtuous spiritual friend is like the Udumbara flower, rare and precious. To the petitioners, he blessed the activities of life, and for two and a half months, he remained alive and well. The next day, to those who came before him, he said, 'Last night's divination was slightly better, and my health is also good.' Then he was escorted to Nedong Tse. The great tenth day was shown to him. At that time, he gave to Zhabdrung Rinpoche the Mahamudra, the Six Dharmas, the Complete Works of Gyalwang Je, the complete four empowerments of Chakrasamvara, and the practice cycle of the Four-Armed Mahakala, known as the Thel tradition. The monastic community and the Ponlob offered immeasurable offerings and services. Furthermore, he offered much tea and gold, and bestowed great Dharma gifts to Khenchen Rinpoche Kunsangpa Shonnu Lodroe and Khithokpa, who were the main ones, and then went to the castle. He bestowed power and Dharma to the officials and servants of Zhabdrung. The great virtuous spiritual friend (Geshe) was also staying there, so he spoke of poetry and answered questions. At that time, representatives, both monks and laypeople, arrived from Gonggar, inviting him to consecrate the newly built temple. They earnestly requested him. Although he did not want to disregard the wishes of others, he was determined not to go this time. He said, 'This old monk will not die in the Dzong.' He sent the inviting party back. Later, at Tashi Tse, in conjunction with the consecration of the temple, he performed the great empowerment of Chakrasamvara. At that time, the newly made head ornament and belt were a little too long. When asked if they should be shortened, he said, 'No need, this time it's just for a while. In any case, this old Lama will not come again.' After the empowerment, Lochin Tulku Rinpoche came to visit and stayed for a few days. Visitors from Khrowo Khar, Drubgyal Ling, Phyong-gyas, and Serpa Zhung gathered every day. Jogwa --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
