If one cherishes it in their heart and diligently serves it, they are called a person of faith. If the actions of a king accord with Dharma, it will surely benefit beings. Although there are many scholars in Tibet, they only pursue the surface of words, unwilling to explore its essence. Like the heroes who arose under the Bodhi tree in the past, aspire to attain the essence of enlightenment. The precious human rebirth is difficult to obtain and easily lost, and conditioned phenomena are momentary and impermanent; one should always remember this. However, people are keen on pursuing worldly gains and immersed in meaningless disputes, which is truly regrettable. One should deeply contemplate the law of karma and avoid falling into the lower realms. Taking the aspiration for happiness and liberation as the foundation, with this precious body, one will surely reach the state of liberation. Not only should one aspire to liberation, but also cultivate the aspiration Bodhicitta and the practice Bodhicitta, diligently practicing the supreme methods of Vajrayana, like the art of transmuting stone into gold, one will surely quickly attain perfect enlightenment. Thus it is said. Afterward, he went to the palace of Gongkar (place name). He stayed there for more than two months. The Dharma King (referring to the Guru) and his nephew (khu dbon), along with many of the monastery's affairs managers, including myself, received all the empowerments, instructions, and teachings of the Dakini Heart Transmission (mkha' 'gro snyan rgyud). The Guru bestowed the permission of Gonpo (mgon po, Protector), saying, 'There is nothing else.' He opened the great mandala of Gonpo's accomplishment arising, and practiced and offered for many days. First, the Dharma King, Desi Rinpoche (sde srid rin po che) and his nephew, along with ten inner ministers, entered the great mandala, received the complete four empowerments, and all the permissions, including the life-force empowerment of the wrathful deities (dregs pa). Auspicious signs and incomparable blessings were obtained. Afterward, he bestowed empowerments to the Sangha, especially the monastic community (grwa tshang), and some patrons and people. He performed the complete empowerments three times in total. At that time, Dakchen Rinpoche (bdag chen rin po che) of the Sakya school sent a generous tea offering as a return gift through the official Chagdzopa (phyag mdzod pa). The Guru also taught the 'Explanation of the Hand Dorje' (phyag rdor stod 'grel), the 'Explanation of the Vajra Heart' (rdo rje snying 'grel), the 'Explanation of the Tantra of Gonpo's Accomplishment Arising, Vajra Heart' (mgon po dngos grub 'byung ba'i rgyud kyi rnam bshad rdo rje snying po), and the fifteen manuscripts of Jetsun Marpa (rje btsun mar pa), and the empowerment lineage of Guru Drakpo Nyangluk (gu ru drag po nyang lugs), and countless other profound and vast teachings. The Guru also bestowed a hundred long-life empowerments to Zhabdrung Jetsunma (zhabs drung rje btsun ma) and Zhabdrung Dagmo (zhabs drung bdag mo), as well as the permission of White Tara (sgrol dkar), etc. At Chode Dorje Dan (chos sde rdo rje gdan) Monastery, because its Dharma dance (gar 'chams) is very famous, during the Dharma assembly... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
