然后,他自己进入了一种名为‘如幻三昧’(Sgyu ma lta bu'i ting nge 'dzin)、‘勇猛行三昧’(Dpa' bar 'gro ba'i ting nge 'dzin)和‘金刚三昧’(Rdo rje lta bu'i ting nge 'dzin)的禅定状态。

At that time, the influence would spread to many ignorant and childish-minded monks and laypeople. When those affected became like dead people, devoid of consciousness, the Lord of Desire (Kāmadeva) and his retinue would enter those people's bodies and instantly gather two thousand eight hundred cavalry and infantry, clad in strong armor, wielding sharp weapons, and with terrifying laughter, approach the direction of Vajrāsana and establish themselves there. Then, that great being himself appointed the east to Rāhu, the south to Yama, the west to Behara, the north to the Life-taker (Srog bdag), and the red Monpa to guard the place and its retinue, commanding them to protect it. Then, he himself entered a state of meditation called 'Illusion-like Samadhi' (Sgyu ma lta bu'i ting nge 'dzin), 'Heroic Progress Samadhi' (Dpa' bar 'gro ba'i ting nge 'dzin), and 'Vajra Samadhi' (Rdo rje lta bu'i ting nge 'dzin). Among the bodhisattva retinue gathered there, some were abiding in meditation, some were focused on study and reflection, and most people and those playing the role of ordinary people, such as messengers and servants, were devoted to their respective duties and the work of guarding the place. Among the retinue, some like Gyalwang Tenzin, not sleeping at night or dawn, repeatedly circumambulated by walking and standing, and they rejoiced and were extremely pleased to see the signs of eradicating sins, and they practiced diligently. Some of those outsiders thought in their hearts: 'Such a holy person should be respected and should not be an object of harm.' However, immediately afterward, the winds of reversal disturbed their minds, causing them to become like madmen, with inverted perceptions. In that great being, they saw the image of an enemy, so they rained down arrows, boulders, and launched twelve mechanical devices of fire and stone, attacking day and night. They wanted to burn the place, so they started a fire, burning all the nearby grass, trees, and shrubs, and a great fire blazed intensely. However, due to the truthful words of that great being, the fire turned back and nearly burned their own camp. In this way, they waged a fierce battle of magical powers for about five months, but the outsiders were never able to find an opportunity to harm. The retinue felt physically exhausted and mentally weary. The leaders were deep in thought, with their hands on their chins, wondering what to do. Some of them said: 'Whatever benefits sentient beings in the past is the greatest benefit to me; whatever harms sentient beings is the greatest harm to me.'

If one speaks thus, it is reasonable to harm even animals for the sake of harming this (body). Thus, he set fire to the back of a high wall, burning all the birds, beasts, insects, and worms. He poured countless bottles filled with poison into the lake, causing all the tiny creatures living in the water to become stiff like corpses, floating on the surface of the water, like cream forming on yogurt. At that time, the attendants, possessing beautiful conduct, knelt on the ground with their palms together and reported, 'Such an unpleasant situation is seen outside.' The Great Being arose from that samadhi and thought, 'However many sentient beings in the mountains and water die, they will not go to lower realms because they rely on me, and they will become disciples in the future.' After contemplating for a while, he made extensive prayers. That is, as it is said in the Ratnagotravibhāga: 'He leads all sentient beings to the noble path.' The Great Regent's ascetic conduct subdued the four maras within, and he perfected the union of learning and practice. From then on, he no longer acted for his own sake, and his actions vanished like flowers in the sky. Thus it is said. The necessity of initiating such conduct is to recognize self-appearance without clinging, to liberate obstacles naturally, and to benefit from them. Thus it is said. Then, he began to demonstrate conduct that surpasses all: a girl filled an arrow with a bow and killed the wild animals on the eastern mountain. Even the subtle aspect of grasping and being grasped was completely abandoned after six days. When the sound announcing the time limit was proclaimed, everyone found the treasure of their own nature. Thus it is said. There, he abandoned all that should be abandoned and realized all that should be realized, reaching Naropa's Dharmadhatu Palace, obtaining great bliss from the sky. Thus, as the tantras say, he perfected the four conducts, realized the supreme accomplishment of Mahamudra, and attained the state of Vajradhara. That is, as the venerable Tilopa said: 'Such a realized being travels through thirteen realms, inseparable from me, Vajradhara, countless beings who have attained supreme accomplishment.' Thus he prophesied the disciples and retinue. At that time, among the retinue, he spoke to Drakpa Rinchen and others who spoke of hundreds of scriptures, saying: 'Pointing to the path of essence, sending countless pure beings to the other shore, the feet of the guide of beings, Drukpa, are worshiped until enlightenment. Kongton, who is proficient in hundreds of scriptures, why are you so confused by scripture and reasoning?' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
