Lodro (blo gros, name), because his practice of Tantra was so familiar, like awakening his habitual tendencies, so he was chosen. Then the people of Kharchuwa (mkhar chu ba, place name) were sent. At that time, Dorje Lekpa (rdo rje legs pa, name) came and said, 'I come from Uyuk ('u yug, place name), and I am in charge of the management of this monastery. Please paint a picture of me.' Because there was not enough space to paint, he said, 'Next to the local deity, it seems there is enough space to accommodate me.' After looking at it as if measuring, it turned out to be true, so it was painted. Later, when establishing Lochen (lo mtsan nyid grwa tshang, monastery name), the people of the Golden Temple said, 'Considering our learning relationship, we need a Khenpo (mkhan chen, abbot) etc. who is compatible with them.' Initially, Khenchen Rinpoche (mkhan chen rin po che, honorific) Pelchokpa (dpal mchog pa, name) volunteered to come, but they insisted that the Golden Temple was more important. The Khangsar Monastery (khang gsar grwa tshang, monastery name) people thought that Khenpo Sherlekpa (slob dpon sher legs pa, name) was more suitable, considering the monks of the monastery, so they sent him to that position and appointed him. After the two monasteries merged, about three hundred young monks gathered, never decreasing. Usually, about thirty or forty Geshes (dka' bcu, Buddhist degree) and Rabjampas (rab 'byams, Buddhist degree) etc. from various monasteries came. Because deep discussions were constantly held during the day, people said that compared to any other secluded monastery, the learning atmosphere here seemed more intense. The two monasteries received rent from Nyangnang (myang nang, place name) for more than three thousand plots of land. Kitchen utensils and bedding etc. were immediately prepared well. The official of Donggon (sdong dgon, place name) offered about sixty butter lamps to illuminate the white lamps. In addition, the monastery received more than one hundred livestock. At that time, there was infighting in Kyetsal (skyed tshal, place name), and most of the monks sided with Chöje Rabtenpa (chos rje rab brtan pa, name). He and his disciples were living in Chölung (chos lung, place name). Kyetsal is the monastery of Kunchyen Sangye Pel (kun mkhyen sangs rgyas 'phel, name), and it is the source of most monasteries in Ü-Tsang (dbus gtsang, Central and Western Tibet), so it must not be lost. I thought to myself that it would not be good if I became the root of the dispute. So I invited Chöje Rabtenpa back, and in order to avoid disputes in Kyetsal and ensure his salary etc., I appointed him as Gadong Khenpo (dga' gdong mkhan po, position name). Working with Shingshakpa (zhing shag pa, name) and Depa (sde pa, name), the victories etc. that were obtained were entrusted to Tobgyalwa (thob rgyal ba, name). Tobgyalwa wanted to take power himself, so he handed over the good deeds to Rinpungpa (rin spungs pa, name). Tobgyalwa allied with the officials. It is said that Tobgyalwa wanted to transform the Karma Kagyu (karma pa, title of a living Buddha) monastery into a Drukpa Kagyu (brug pa, sect name) monastery that year, but that was not good. This kind of religious conversion is an act that goes against the Dharma, no matter who it is related to, do not do it. In particular, you should serve the reincarnation of Karma Kagyu well. Later, all the officials and servants of Rinpungpa became enemies with me.
