At Mangpo Jhungwa, combined with Merak Dor, the foundational support for establishing Ripa was laid. The merchant Drukgyal offered many teas. Afterward, an assessment was made regarding traveling to Kham and returning to U-Tsang, and the decision was made to return to U-Tsang. This was with the intention of abandoning the path. Not long after Talbar passed away, a meteor-like light descended from the sky and struck him. Mer (fire) blazed, and a state of continuous day and night arose, fulfilling Chokpu's Kunthun Drub. The horsemen provided great service. There seemed to be an indication of urging to 'stay longer,' with great enthusiasm. It was said that in Kongmay, the Sangha gathered, more than ever before. The cooks alone numbered around five hundred, and with other Dharma seekers, there were about seven hundred in total. Everyone became ordained monks, and preparations were made. Chokpu himself seemed to have more than four hundred and fifty people. The people of Kongpo said, 'These small tents, can you recognize which one is your own?' In Pongteng of Kongpo, Kagyupa's Shakya Rinchen seemed very learned. All Sakya, Gelug, Kagyu, and Nyingma, including him, regarded him as an object of faith. The alms-round was concluded. It was said that there were many to be taught. In Cholgong, Gyalwang Rinpoche allowed the planting of a small Sewa tree. He said, 'When this tree grows into a tree, I will come here.' When we arrived, the tree had grown into a tree, so everyone seemed to believe greatly. Afterward, the route was calculated via Nyangkha. From Jayul, Gongma Rinpoche repeatedly sent people saying, 'Come.' A promise was made to come if a Dharma school was established at Palri. At that time, a decision was made to collect fees from about seventy monks from Doding Sum to establish a Dharma center, so they came up. When arriving at Kyen, Choje Dakira Chenpa was old. Dorzin Jokpa Shar became the Vajra Holder. Deeming it appropriate, Lama Jyapa Jikja was immediately appointed as the Vajra Holder. The offerings of Pulung Sum were distributed to the Vajra Holder's kitchen and the sustenance of the practitioners. Arriving at Jayul, the center of Nyal Yangpachen was close to the Dharma King's residence. A Sangha community was established on the slopes of Palri Mountain. Gyalwa Rinpoche had planned to establish a monastic college, but had Nyangrampa stay. However, the people of Nyangtope did not listen to the local customs and commands. From Lingtope, Choje Drakpa Shenyen was transferred as Khenpo. Chenpo Choje Norbu Rinchen was appointed, and Lingtope and it were supported. Choje Gyela Rabjampa became the Chenpo of Lingmay, and Taktsay Lobonpa was also appointed as the Chenpo of Yangtse. In winter, they went to Ralung via Shargyika, and Rinpoche and his disciples went to Gongkar. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
