One day, [Rinpoche] arrived at the summit of Tsewo La and, as he looked in all directions, he saw above the sky a three-tiered tent of five-colored rainbows, adorned with a radiant web-like structure, and embellished with various forms such as horses, elephants, wheels, lotuses, and jewels. Rinpoche said, 'That will be the place to develop my sangha.' Then he went there. There, they passed through dense thickets and found three hearth stones and some firewood at the source of a spring. Rinpoche said, 'Auspicious coincidence! Gawa, Jowo, and others, each of you cut a piece of wood.' They cut the wood, brewed tea, and sat down. At that moment, a very loud thunderclap resounded three times in the sky. Rinpoche said, 'The sound of thunder pervades everywhere, and my fame will also spread everywhere.' At that time, seven children from Yarlung Taklung came to seek Dharma, offering bows and arrows, which [Rinpoche] used as the main beams of the temple, building a sleeping chamber, hence it was known as the Bow and Arrow Lhakhang (temple). Afterwards, in the center of the land shaped like an eight-petaled lotus, the main temple and monastic cells were built. In that same year, about a thousand meditation rooms were completed. During the consecration ceremony, [Rinpoche] sang, 'The seat of the previous master is a secluded retreat, a small and beautiful hermitage, with accomplished meditators. These three are the warmth of the meditation room.' After that, the monastery was named Druk (Dragon). At that time, Rinpoche said, 'This is the prophecy of Drukje Snapuwa, and the prophecy of Longdol Zhang Rinpoche.' Furthermore, I [Rinpoche] said, 'If the monastery is built in the north, no one will be able to compete with it in terms of sangha and offerings, but it will not be of great benefit to future generations. If it is built in Ngamshod, the benefit to beings will be very vast, but it will be difficult to maintain in the future, so it was abandoned. If it is built in Ralung, the wealth will not be exhausted even if spent for generations, and many great people will gather, but the benefit to beings will not be great.' After that, [Rinpoche] developed the sangha and resided there. At that time, there was a drought, as hot as the fire at the end of an eon, and all the flowers and trees withered like silk burned by fire. Rain was rarer than the udumbara flower. The sounds of people's painful cries spread in all directions. Rinpoche himself went to Druk Phuk Jekar, commanded the nagas to rain, and performed a ritual for rain. It rained that day. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After it rained heavily for seven consecutive days, all the plants blossomed and bore fruit, and all people were freed from the suffering of poverty. Everyone saw it as the kindness of the Lord (rje), gained extra faith and certainty, and were satisfied with the assembly of necessities. At that time, the devout gatherings saw various manifestations of the body, and taught the Dharma in the languages of the six realms, etc., spending their time with inconceivable miraculous powers. Some meditators returned from pilgrimage to Radreng (rwa sgreng) and Taklung (stag lung), and came to Drigung ('bri khung). Kyobpa Jigten Sumgön (rje skyob pa 'jig rten mgon po) of Drigung asked: 'Meditators, where do you come from? Where is your monastery? What kind of guru and teachings do you have?' They replied: 'We come from Druk ('brug) monastery, our guru is Tsangpa Gyare (gtsang pa rgya ras), and we have the teachings of the Six Yogas of Naropa (nA ro'i ro snyoms skor drug).' Kyobpa Jigten Sumgön said: 'Your guru Tsangpa Gyare is very fortunate. Is he very arrogant?' They replied: 'We do not know if he is arrogant. How can we understand the Buddha's intention? We will ask him.' Then they came to Tsangpa Gyare. Tsangpa Gyare asked: 'What news do you have? What did the Drigungpa (rje 'bri khung pa) say?' They told all the previous conversations. Tsangpa Gyare said: 'You are messengers. Give this message to Kyobpa. ' Then he sang: 'Namo Ratna Guru Homage to the precious guru). Having left the birthplace, in order to seek the original abode, now I have seized the fortress of reality. I have no attachment to my homeland. Deliver this message to northern Drigung.' and so on songs, and many other teachings. At that time, a gathering of no less than three hundred thousand people gathered, and every petal of the eight-petaled lotus was filled with monks, like a container filled with sesame seeds. When the Sangha gathered, even blowing many conches could not be heard, so a huge mountain banner was raised to guide people to gather. For them, countless previously unheard-of Dharma gates were opened, and all disciples of the three types of lineages were guided onto the path to enlightenment. The auspicious coincidence of benefiting beings is no different from the omniscient ones of the three times. The gathering of people and wealth flourished like a lotus in summer. The teachings were known to be both profound and vast in the land of snow (kha ba can). The source of compassion burst forth. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
