Skillfully utilizing the supreme jewel, with keen eyes and ears, Adorned with the fence of the three trainings, beautified with the crest of the two wisdoms. Like a pillar for beings, the sole protector, with the light of learning and realization, Uprooting ignorance from the three realms, seizing the pride of the arrogant. Nurturing the tree of enlightenment for the faithful, bestowing supreme bliss upon beings of the nine realms, I bow to the glorious Lama Khar-snyog Wangpo. Destroying all the armies of samsara's enemies, Well-versed in royal conduct on the glorious earth, With compassion, bestowing the precious treasures of the profound Dharma treasury, To all who are impoverished. Nourishing with the water of learning and reasoning, intimidating with the thunder of debate, Illuminating with the lightning of composition, adorning with the net of auspicious meanings, With a constant rain of eloquent speech, Pacifying the suffering of the three poisons, washing away all the stains of delusion, Increasing the clear waters of fortune for the fortunate. 3-2 May you spread the white lotus petals of the well-spoken teachings in all directions, Incomparable Drukpa ('Brug-pa), Lord of the World, please care for us! Merely hearing your name, One turns away from the decline of samsara, And becomes rich with the endless glories of the heavens, May your immeasurable treasure of compassion bestow auspiciousness! I will briefly describe here the great deeds of the尊者, like a hundred sacrifices, Like a source of jewels, a wish-fulfilling gem, and the water of immortality, Perfecting all that is virtuous, becoming the basis of benefit and happiness. With vast conduct, he transcended worldly limitations, and triumphed over all forces, including the armies of demons. He attained the nectar of peaceful Nirvana and turned the wheel of Dharma completely. Beings of the three realms revered the lotus at his feet, and the name and fame of 'Yeshe Dorje' spread like a white umbrella throughout the ten directions. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This supreme being, with a form that appears to be in accordance with the merit of as many sentient beings as he guides, leads all beings to the path of Nirvana. To guide those of us who share the same fortune, he demonstrates the conduct of a Bodhisattva from the past in a similar manner. From this, we heard the following: In the past, in a time beyond countless eons, there appeared in the world a Bhagavan, a Tathagata, an Arhat, a Samyaksambuddha, endowed with knowledge and conduct, a Sugata, a knower of the world, a tamer of men, an unsurpassed one, a teacher of gods and humans, named King of Arrangement (bkod pa'i rgyal po). At that time, this great being was a beggar who lived by begging. He gained unwavering faith in the Buddha, sold his own body, and with the proceeds, made offerings to the Buddha and generated the mind of unsurpassed enlightenment. Furthermore, in an eon that appears beautiful, in a world called Completely Adorned (rnam par brgyan pa), there appeared a guide named King of the Infinite Qualities, Treasures, and Various Arrangements (yon tan mtha' yas rin chen sna tshogs bkod pa'i rgyal po). At that time, in a palace called Completely Pure (rnam par dag pa can), the youngest of the thousand sons of a Chakravartin king who ruled over the four continents, named Protector of the Realm (yul 'khor srung), was called Fame of Infinite Intelligence (blo mtha' yas grags). He offered the most excellent offerings to the Buddha and the Sangha of monks for billions of years and listened to the Dharma. His father, the king, thought that he should test which of the young men would attain enlightenment first, so he wrote their names and placed them in a vase made of the seven precious substances. After making offerings for seven days, in the presence of the queen, princes, ministers, and other attendants, the names were drawn from the vase. As a result, the last name to be drawn was the name of this great being. The scribes, relatives, and brothers ridiculed him, saying, 'We have already ripened all sentient beings and done the work of the Buddha. What will you do?' He replied, 'The Buddhadharmas are like the sky, undifferentiated and the same. In my mind, I think that sentient beings are inexhaustible. My vows will be fulfilled by my discipline. Listen to what my vows are: If you add up your lifespans, if you add up the lifespans of all the kings of the Sangha, if you add up all those lifespans, that will become my lifespan. My Sangha of monks will also be all-pervading.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
