When asked if he needed abundant offerings, he said, 'Lama, you seem to be lying.' It is said that in the lower region of Tsa ri tra, a person named Bra ba yak po gathers the heroes and dakinis of twenty-four regions and holds a tsok khorlo (gathering wheel). When asked if there was evidence to prove this was true, he said, 'Isn't this your staff?' When he showed the conch rosary that had been lost in Tsa ri, the Lama was somewhat embarrassed. Then he returned to his residence. The dakinis acted as patrons, and in the first part of the night, they gathered celestial nectar, as well as hundreds of flavors of food, drink, chewing substances, and sucking substances, in countless varieties. Hundreds of thousands of dakinis also gathered with various offerings. The master himself erected the mandala of the thirteen deities of glorious Chakrasamvara (Pal Khorlo Dompa) as the support and the supported. All the retinue were also blessed and transformed into deities. Countless yogic masters came with miraculous powers and held a grand tsok khorlo. At the end of the night, they each returned to their own abodes. Then he went to Bod dor and resided there. At that time, the wind meditation masters and disciples came to request permission to go to Do khams, and the master granted permission with a song of farewell. At that time, the master Rong po and Ser sgom grags yes came and requested with various offerings and respect, saying, 'Please grant us a treatise that is profound in meaning, beautiful in words, easy to understand, and integrates all the doctrines of Sutra and Tantra.' The master replied, 'This beggar's yoga garment of mine is not suitable for writing treatises, but only for singing.' And he gave these verses. Surrounded by a retinue like an ocean, he went to Tsang. Near the time of the autumn harvest, at the invitation of the Geshe (dge slong, bhikshu) sangha of Dras mo ba, he turned the wheel of Dharma extensively and received grand offerings and respect. Me sgom saw the master's body manifest in many forms and was amazed, so he danced and prayed. He saw a yogi adorned with bone ornaments, his hair adorned with flowers, sitting on a black antelope skin, holding a golden vase filled with nectar. At that time, the disciples from U-Tsang requested, 'Please, master, be the protector of us who dwell here,' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Why don't you come with your entourage?' When these words reached my ears, I immediately set out, proceeding along the path, and eventually arrived at the destination. There, disciples and local residents greeted me with unspeakable offerings and hospitality. At that time, the Sangha (community) of monks who came to listen to the Dharma alone numbered hundreds and thousands. I bestowed great benefit upon many crude individuals and pleased them by proclaiming that many beings' benefit could be accomplished. At that time, Gyalwa Lorepa (རྒྱལ་བ་ལོ་རས་པ, Gyalwa Lorepa, name of a master) was only sixteen years old. His parents and son came to visit, offered many gifts, and listened to the Dharma. At that time, he wanted to become the master's attendant, but his relatives did not allow it. Later, in Nyethang (སྙེ་ཐང་, Nyethang, place name), a conflict arose between two forces, gathering many Han Chinese and Tibetan people. They fought like Asuras (demi-gods), filled with fear and anxiety. Sentient beings suffered unbearable pain, as if in hell. Innocent lives were also destroyed by the merciless rain of weapons. The teachings of Gyalwa (རྒྱལ་བ, Gyalwa, Victorious One) were obscured by the darkness of the degenerate age. What was once like a happy and peaceful city became like the abode of Gandharvas (དྲི་ཟ, Driza, a type of deity). The master felt pained by this, so he went to mediate, accepted the requests of the armies, and quelled the conflict between them. Afterward, he gradually came to a white slab of stone called Pabong Karleb (ཕ་བོང་དཀར་ལེབ, Pabong Karleb, place name), entered into Samadhi (ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན, ting nge dzin, meditation) of limitless Dharma gates, and sang many songs of realization. Later, when he arrived at Klongdol (ཀློང་རྡོལ, Klongdol, place name), he pleased many Gyalwas (རྒྱལ་བ, Gyalwa, Victorious Ones), completed the two accumulations (ཚོགས, tshogs, accumulation of merit and wisdom), received empowerment as regent, and a young man named Kunga Tashi (ཀུན་དགའ་བཀྲ་ཤིས, Kunga Tashi, personal name) came to study the Dharma, took novice vows, and was given the name Drakpa Wangchuk (གྲགས་པ་དབང་ཕྱུག, Drakpa Wangchuk, personal name). Later, he became the master of the teachings of Gyalwa Lorepa (རྒྱལ་བ་ལོ་རས་པ, Gyalwa Lorepa, name of a master). There, he satisfied all those to be tamed with Dharma and empowerment. Some disciples came to the master and said, 'We are about to go to various places to practice. How should we proclaim the master's fame?' The master said, 'There is no need to proclaim my fame. If you are going to various places, spread these words of mine throughout all regions.' Then, he sang a song: 'We have obtained a human body but have no Dharma, / Like going to the Golden Isle but returning empty-handed. / If we fall into the lower realms, will we not regret it? / Convey these words to those who have no faith.' And so on, after saying these words, he said, 'We should all strive!' At that time, the master was forty-five years old, in the Dragon Month (fourth month of the Tibetan calendar) of the Wood Ox year, during the waxing phase of the white side of the moon. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
