'Homage to the one who radiates light in all directions!' This reveals that. (Referring to the wisdom light of the Buddha illuminating everything) Regarding how the Buddha knows all dharmas, because in the realm of the Buddha there is no impure worldly knowledge, the great scholar Yeshe De said: 'In the realm of the Buddha, there is no need for deliberate creation, abiding, or arising. All knowable objects appear simultaneously. Because there is no conceptual thought, although one knows its own nature merely as an illusion, one does not cling to things, nor does one grasp at characteristics. Therefore, there is no fault of the grasper and the grasped.' What he said is also measured by the minds of those to be tamed, and then it is said to be omniscient wisdom, which is a convenient way of speaking. The Buddha himself does not have so-called wisdom, and the Buddha himself is wisdom, which is a very reasonable statement. Therefore, regarding the two distinctions of meaning and nomenclature mentioned for pramana (量, प्रमाण,pramāṇa,valid cognition), The Madhyamaka school believes that this is limited to the situation of 'reversing non-merit'. As the Fundamental Wisdom Treatise says: 'Without relying on conventional truth, one cannot attain ultimate truth.' Therefore, dividing the knowable realm into two truths, the knower's pramana is also established as two types: 'From its own nature, one knows its own nature; from nomenclature, pramana arises.' And in the Commentary on Valid Cognition, it says: 'In order to show the habits of others, as long as samsara is not empty, it will not be separated. This depends on the non-deceptive conventional truth, therefore this is pramana.' This is the nature of universal conventional pramana, which is also to dispel the ignorance of those who deceive the world. By practicing the wisdom arising from thought, one is free from delusion, without defilement, and without obstruction, thereby directly realizing ultimate pramana. This is only showing a part of it. Just as conventional truth is the means and ultimate truth is the result of the means, pramana is the same. Considering the conventional mind as pramana, as the Commentary on Valid Cognition says: 'Mind is pramana, because it is the main thing for things to be taken and abandoned.' The Commentary on Valid Cognition says: 'Benefit and non-benefit, obtaining and abandoning, are all preceded by correct knowledge.' Here, 'thought-born' is mentioned, but 'meditation-born' is not mentioned, in order to show that the continuous practice of recollection becomes the path, which is the so-called 'analytical meditation' school. In the middle, it is refuting self-grasping, because conventional is ignorance or self-nature obscuration, therefore it cannot become the true truth, therefore, its object is the universally conventional pramana. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mother is also not a reliable measure. Therefore, there is only one truth, which is the truth of ultimate reality. There is also only one measure, which is the wisdom of knowing all things. As it is said in the 'Sixty Stanzas on Reasoning': 'Nirvana is the only truth, whatever the Victorious Ones have spoken, the rest is false, what wise person would not understand this?' And as it is said in the 'Entering the Middle Way': 'The all-knowing one is considered to be the characteristic of direct perception. Others are only temporary, and should not be called direct perception.' It also says: 'For the sake of the apprehended and the apprehender, conventional truth is not accepted.' And as it is said in the 'Appropriate Reasoning': 'If, in relation to the knowledge of the all-knowing one, all this knowledge is deceptive.' Because this is in the context of refuting all views, deriving from the reasoning of dependent origination. Nirvana also cannot be considered true, because it refers to being separated from suffering and so on. Suffering and so on can never exist, so it is like the corpse of a barren woman's son. If one thinks that there is no difference from the Sautrantika school, because they also say that just as a candle is extinguished, the Bhagavan's liberation is also similar to that. Then, they think that it is non-existent, and here it is also to be negated. As it is said in the 'Bodhicharyavatara': 'When something does not exist, the object to be examined cannot be observed. At that time, the non-existent is separated from its basis, how can it exist before the mind? When the existent and the non-existent, both cannot exist before the mind, then there is no other way, the object is completely pacified.' And as Nagarjuna said: 'If I had any commitment, then I would have this fault. Because I have no commitment, therefore I am without fault.' He also said: 'As the wise ones have said, however one thinks about things, one becomes more and more detached, this is what comes from the power of things themselves.' Examining in this way, nothing that needs to be committed arises. Third, summarizing the meaning through the application of language: In the case of the first classification, it is necessary to divide measure into conventional measure and ultimate measure. Because the first is the means of entering into unerringly taking and abandoning, and the ultimate is the measure that shows the means that has arisen. In the case of the second classification, only the ultimate measure has the reason to show its relationship as characteristic, name, and imputation. Because in relation to the wisdom of the all-knowing one, all other knowledge is false. In the case of the third classification. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
