Acting without attachment. The practice of the meaning of intention is like the continuous flow of a river, without interruption. Acting without being moved from one's own state, without hindrance. The practice of the meaning of the result is like the sun with its rays, acting with the three bodies inseparable. Emptiness manifests as the wisdom body, acting for the sake of the form body. Without moving from the state of intention, acting for the sake of great wisdom. (396) Yoga is the practice of the mind. The practice of yogis is like the echo of sound from a rock, acting without attachment to sounds. The practice of body, speech, and mind is in this Dharma of samsara and nirvana, acting without attachment or clinging to appearances, like reflections in a mirror. Acting without attachment is acting like reflections in a mirror. Acting without mindfulness is when a yogi does not pretend, acting without mindfulness or conceptualization, like an elephant drinking liquor. Acting without desire is like a bee sipping a flower, a yogi acting without attachment to anything. The practice of great compassion arises like the essence of the sun, acting to perfect the benefit of beings through the three doors. The practice of compassionate longing arises like a mother for her only child, the yogi acting to benefit beings with it. The practice of non-duality is not deliberately rejecting or cultivating, not deliberately practicing or abandoning practice, acting without fabrication, spontaneously arising, without obstruction. Thus it is said. Fourth, the fruit of securing one's own ground is twofold (397): the temporary and the ultimate fruit. The first is seeing the meaning of the view directly, first seeing the appearance of the expanse and wisdom, from which it increases. The four are increasing, perfecting, and finally exhausting. Because there is spontaneously present natural light, the radiance of the five wisdoms shines outward, so the appearance of the five lights with bindus is seen. Because there is body in the expanse, the appearance of bindus increases upward, and light and bindus shine pervading the sky. When the increase is perfected, all the appearances of the five bodies clearly manifest in the pure lands. These are the radiance or power of the form body. Exhaustion is when the radiance withdraws inward as the winds are purified, and the radiance of the dharmakaya's nature is like a cloudless sky, remaining briefly in that nature, abiding in exhaustion. At those times, eyes, clairvoyance, and samadhi.

Also, immeasurable merit is obtained. The ultimate fruit is the spontaneous accomplishment of the precious jewel in its own place within the inner sphere, without even appearing as the sound of the Dharmakaya. Furthermore, in the Explanatory Tantra (398), it says that the fruit is the manifestation of the meaning of the view, and its state is: The nature of reality is clear without inner or outer, Awareness pervades without inner or outer, The indivisible Vajra body of Dharma, Abides in a self-luminous, ungrasping state. Because of this, knowledge is uninterrupted, The wisdom of awareness is the Sambhogakaya. The nature of the mother is the five wisdom vases, Appearing but without substance, like a rainbow in the sky. From that state, the five Nirmanakayas are clear, Clear but without conceptualization, like the butter lamps in a vase. The three Kayas are clear within, abiding without gathering or scattering, Awareness, self-appearing, is clear and transparent. The two Kayas do not appear in the realm, without gathering or scattering, The two Kayas are uninterrupted, the absence within presence, The Dharmakaya is the unchanging presence. Like pottery, water, and reflections in a mirror, Appearing but without inherent existence, therefore free from the fault of signs, Not appearing but with inherent existence, therefore transcending the fault of emptiness, Liberated from the four extremes, freed from the bonds of samsara, In essence, the unchanging awareness attains its own ground. Thus it is. The fifth general topic, defining the categories of other dharmas (399), has three aspects: first, cutting off verbal imputations; second, considering the path through similar words and superior meanings; and third, explaining one's own tenets. The first has two parts: generally explaining the imputations of vehicles, and specifically explaining one's own imputations in detail. The first has two parts: generally establishing the meaning, and specifically showing the distinctions. The first is that the word "yana" means vehicle, because it transports one to the desired place by relying on it. Its essence is wisdom and compassion. Its definition is youthfulness or that which transports. Its divisions are two: great and small, and cause and effect. The example is a boat that moves from one place to another, and a foundation or bridge that lifts from its own base. As it says in the Explanatory Tantra: The essence of the vehicle is wisdom and compassion, The greatness or smallness of these two shows the height or lowness of the vehicle. The definition of the vehicle is lifting and saving, Although there are many divisions, they are condensed into no more than two. The characteristic vehicle of causal conditions and the secret mantra vehicle of the resultant path. A swimmer or a boat is an example of the characteristic vehicle (400), a bridge is the base of the secret.
