is. Together with the hollow tube, it is the grasping. The place of mind and wisdom is pointed out, the abode of great wisdom is, the bindu of pure space. Now residing in the precious space, seeing the way of dwelling and the way of appearing, one should know above and below. The mind dwells in the city with wind, and the path is also pointed out to be of two kinds. What connects to the precious ocean is, the white, soft, hollow pulse. The bindu is not stained by blood, great wisdom universally transforms. That is said to be the path of wisdom. The throat is the path that the mind travels, that is the measure of the movement of breath. The gate is said to be of two kinds, the gate of wisdom and the gate of mind. The gate of wisdom is of two kinds, the pervasive but not appearing hidden transformation gate, the ears are pointed out to be of two kinds. The nature of clarity is unobstructed, the appearing gate is pointed out to be the eyes. The gate of mind is the three gates of desire, distinguished by the movement and non-movement of breath. Wisdom is the quality appearing as the body, the faults of the mind are the dharmas of samsara, it is considered to arise from there and there. Thus it is well said. The fifth meaning is to record the names of consistent meaning, the profound secret intention of these ways is spoken of in the final instruction, the ultimate truth, the definitively ascertained Dharma Sutra, the meaning determined by the noble Maitreya in the Uttaratantra is slightly summarized, the Dharmakaya of self-nature luminosity is profoundly indicated to the Tathagatagarbha, universally indicated with essence, truthfully and immutably indicated, the example of how it abides is indicated, the Dharma of definitively ascertained names is indicated, with the connection of five meanings one should understand this place, first is the mind's supreme luminosity nature although abiding in temporary defilements, but if purified, in essence the stainless Buddha Dharmakaya will arise, possessing two kinds of purity, because the qualities and activities of the Buddha arise, therefore it is the Tathagatagarbha. Called the Buddha's lineage, as the Uttaratantra says: With defilements suchness and without defilements, without defilements is the Buddha's qualities, the supreme treasury, from which the three jewels of virtue arise, is the realm of those who see the ultimate truth. And its commentary says: Among them, the suchness with defilements is, the hollow tube of afflictions.

That which is called the Tathāgatagarbha is the realm that has not been liberated from (afflictions). The stainless Suchness is the nature of the complete transformation of that very Buddha-realm, and is called the Dharmakāya of the Tathāgata. The stainless qualities of the Buddha are the nature of the transformed realm, which exists in the Dharmakāya of the Tathāgata itself, and are the Buddha-dharmas such as the ten powers that transcend the world. The deeds of the Victorious One are the unique and unsurpassed activities of those very Buddha-dharmas such as the ten powers, which have not disappeared, are uninterrupted, and whose lineage is unbroken, so that the continuous speech of the prophecies of the Bodhisattvas is not cut off. Thus it is said. These four states are also of the same kind, differing only in the presence or absence of impurities. Their essence is self-originated wisdom, spontaneously accomplished and unchanging, so they are taught as inconceivable dharmas. In the Uttaratantra it says: These four in their order, are inconceivable by four causes. Because of possessing purity and defilement, because of being completely free from defilement and pure, because of the dharma without distinctions, because of spontaneous accomplishment and non-conceptualization. And in its commentary it says: Among them, Suchness with defilements is both pure and completely defiled at the same time, so this state is inconceivable. It is a realm that even Pratyekabuddhas, who are devoted to the profound dharma, have not entered. Therefore, goddess, these two dharmas are difficult to realize: the self-nature of the mind is difficult to realize as pure, and the afflictions that are close to the mind itself are difficult to realize. Goddess, are you the one who listens to these two dharmas? Or are they the Bodhisattvas who possess great dharma? (298) Goddess, the remaining Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas can only realize these two dharmas through faith in the Tathāgata. Thus it is said. Among them, stainless Suchness is the self-nature of wisdom, which was not previously completely defiled by impurities, and is later purified, so this state is inconceivable. Because the mind is naturally luminous, therefore
