) matures into six natures and six fruits. Kye, Lord of Secrets, these are the teachings in which the six realms of beings currently abide. Regardless of where the tantras come from, know that what is explained here is the teaching of the final age. Thus it was said. The teachings of samsara, such as the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, depend on karma and afflictions. These depend on the mind. The root of that depends on awareness, which is like the sky. If analyzed, there is no basis or dwelling, like illusions and emanations. There is no inherent nature, and awareness is unchanging. As it says in the Uttaratantra: Faults are endowed with suddenness, Qualities are endowed with inherent nature. Just as before, so it is afterward, It is the unchanging nature of reality. Just as the sky is all-pervading, Because it is subtle, it is not close to anything. Likewise, for all sentient beings, This place is not close to anything. Just as in all the worlds, In the sky, there is arising and ceasing. Likewise, in the unconditioned realm, The faculties arise and cease. Just as the sky is never Burned by fires. Likewise, this is not Burned by the fire of death, sickness, and old age. Earth depends on water, water on wind, (253) Wind greatly abides in space. Space does not abide in wind, water, or The element of earth. Therefore, the aggregates, elements, and faculties All abide in karma and afflictions. Karma and afflictions are not proper, Attention always abides. Improper attention Greatly abides in the purity of mind. The nature of mind, all phenomena, Does not abide in anything either. The aggregates, sense bases, and elements Should be known to be like earth. The karma and afflictions of embodied beings Should be known to be like the water element. Improper attention Is like the wind element. Like the element of the nature of space, Likewise, causes do not abide anywhere. Improper attention Abides in the nature of mind. Through improper attention, Karma and afflictions are greatly distinguished. From the water of karma and afflictions, The aggregates, sense bases, and elements arise. They are destruction and formation, And become arising and ceasing. The (254) nature of mind is like the element of space, Without cause or condition. There is no accumulation and no birth. There is no fear and no abiding. The nature of mind...

What is the definitive clarity? It is immutable like the sky. Afflictions such as attachment, arising from correct conceptualization, are adventitious stains that do not change it. Thus it is said. The true limit is that which is devoid of all aspects of conditioned phenomena. Afflictions, actions, and the meaning of karmic maturation are spoken of as being like clouds, etc. Afflictions are like clouds in their function. Actions are like experiences in a dream. The karmic maturation of afflictions and actions is like an illusion or emanation. Thus it is said. Secondly, the specific explanation of the arising dharmas has seven aspects: essence, definition, divisions, examples, characteristics, arising process, and liberation process. The essence of arising is the unceasing manifestation of the potential for the arising of samsara and nirvana from the ground appearance. The essence of purity is the manifestation as the self-radiance of the five wisdoms. The essence of impurity is the manifestation of earth, water, fire, wind, and space. The definition is that arising occurs because the play of radiance is unceasing. Purity is so-called because of the purity of the self-appearance of inner wisdom, and the arising of impurity is so-called because of the confused appearance of outer habitual tendencies. There are four divisions: purity, impurity, the impurity of purity, and the purity of impurity. Purity refers to the five spontaneously present great elements: earth without solidity, water without moisture, fire without heat, wind without movement, and space as the radiant one without pervasiveness. Their function is to be the source of body and wisdom, the secret source, the completely pure wisdom. Impurity is mostly that which possesses awareness and consciousness. Solidity is earth, moisture is water, heat is fire, movement is wind, and pervasiveness is space. The inner arising becomes the support of the body. The impurity of purity is flesh and bones. Blood, lymph, and semen are water, warmth is fire, breath is wind, and the inner emptiness is space. In the purity of impurity, the impure are the five outer elemental forms appearing as earth, water, fire, wind, and space. The purity of these is the five rainbows. The combination is the purity of impurity. (256) Examples: like the rising rays of the sun, or like light shining from crystal. Characteristics: generally, what arises from what? The specific characteristics are divided into two: the characteristics of the five great wisdom elements. The self-radiance of awareness, with the five colors holding the aspects of body and appearance, and abiding in the four modes of activity, is divided as follows: stable without solidity, gathering without moisture, moving without movement, and
