The great wisdom that does not abide in duality, the self-illuminating light of non-conceptual wisdom, the very nature of Mañjuśrī, the self-born Bhagavan. Therefore, the meaning spoken from the mirror of Vajrasattva's heart will be extensively explained. When the actual Vajradhara descends into the left hand, at the time of the self-nature (178) of clear light, all phenomena, both existent and non-existent, appear as suchness. And the realm of the western lotus paradise is the space that appears in the heart of Amitabha. The five-tiered crystal stupa, together with the vase base and vase, is the self-light of the five wisdoms of actual awareness, the great primordial purity of the five elements and five mothers. A similar stupa, in the mirror of example, arises spontaneously from the blessings of the past, appearing outwardly for the sake of taming beings, and serves as an example representing the stupa of awareness and wisdom. From the realm of complete activity in the north, five activity mudras arise spontaneously: the vajra cross, the eight-spoked wheel, the three-pronged sword, the vajra hook, and the lotus flower with a thousand petals. From the vajra cross, the empowerment tantra of accomplishing activities arises. From the eight-spoked wheel, the tantra of complete explanation arises. From the three-pronged sword, the tantra of unchanging view arises. From the vajra hook, the tantra and instructions that definitely (179) reveal arise. From the lotus flower with a thousand petals, the words that represent the single intention without fault arise. The realm of complete activity in the north is the manifestation of meaning accomplished in the heart. The five hand symbols are: The center of the actual vajra cross, the hand symbol, is the wheel. The eastern horn is the hook, the southern horn is the sword, the western horn is the lotus, and the northern horn is the vajra. The way in which the tantras, agamas, and instructions are completed from the hand symbols has been shown. From the cross arises the empowerment tantra, which is the tantra of the empowering guru, the tantra of the empowering precious wheel. From the wheel arises the tantra of explanation, which is the tantra of firm conviction, the increase of meditative love, the tantra of cutting through error and obscuration, the clear sky sun, the tantra of distinguishing intention, the peacock's intertwined neck, the coiled lotus, and the gathering of vajra tips. Within the 'i,' the lineage of view is 'Heap of Jewels'; the lineage of skillful means in conduct is 'Supreme Wisdom Guru'; the lineage of fruit, majestic suppression, is 'Shaking the Samsara Hole' (180). From the Vajra Hook, the definitive teachings are the 'Precious Garland' in three volumes, and the oral instruction lineage of the Form Body, 'Radiant Light,' along with the four essential 'Tikas' and six 'Nails.' From the Lotus, the Great Mind Direction, Vajra Dakini, Sacred Glory, and Manjushri, these four. The intention of these is that within the inner sphere, in the heart, Vajrasattva, the teacher of beings, appears, and by realization, one liberates oneself. Outwardly, for followers, there are 'All-Illuminating' and 'All-Gathering,' etc., and many other mudra-related tantras are taught. Thus, from the mudras, the intention of the tantras, agamas, and oral instructions abides as self-appearing and self-arising. Therefore, the four rivers of empowerment also descend as self-perfected. The river of empowerment from oneself, not from another, the river of empowerment of self-born compassion, the river of empowerment of the five heroic seed syllables, and the river of empowerment of the union of four wisdoms, all these arise from oneself as self-manifestation. These also appear as meaningful accomplishments in the heart of the perfectly complete sphere from the northern direction (181). Mudras are the meaning of the five reasons, appearing as symbols. From the ground, path, and fruit, the tantras, agamas, and oral instructions, which are spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, appear as self-manifestation, and the four rivers of empowerment descend as self-perfected. The Sambhogakaya transmits to the Nirmanakaya, and it is called blessing. If these are summarized, when the peaceful Vajradhatu mandala is seen in the heart, the as-it-is wisdom remains unwavering in the nature of Samantabhadra. The as-it-is ground is introduced in meaning by Vajrasattva, the as-it-is meaning is introduced in symbols by Ratnasambhava, the as-it-is sign is introduced in examples by Amitabha, and the as-it-is sound is explained in sound and words by Amoghasiddhi. From the age of eight to sixteen, the wheel of wisdom turns inward on the life-force of wisdom, mastering all that is knowable in the wisdom of omniscience, liberating oneself through realization, and abiding without wavering from the intention of dharmata. To whom should what be given among those to be tamed? From the age of sixteen to (182) twenty-four, on the life-force of wisdom
